Peggy Sulahian Takes Responsibility For Her Part In The Misunderstanding With Shannon Beador

As we wind down this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County and hang our hopes on some exciting bits of drama the reunion episodes coming up, Peggy Sulahian is reflecting on this week’s finale episode. Peggy shares her thoughts on her “finer things” lifestyle, her relationship with Shannon Beador, and more.

Peggy gushed over Meghan King‘s candle party. She is also trying to understand why the women seem perplexed over her “pampered princess” life. Peggy feels if she was a man, nobody would question it one bit. “The launch party was beautiful and styled to perfection. Every detail was attended to, and it looked beautiful, as did so many of the guests. Everyone was dressed up and stunning. As the evening continued, Kelly brought to my attention (again) the fact that I am a pampered princess. What can I say — I am! I don’t understand why they are taken aback by it. Haven’t you seen a woman who is cared for? It isn’t just that. Yes, I enjoy the finer things in life, but I also worked for them. If I was a man, would people mention it so much? And in this time, my world was confined to that which I needed to focus on: my family and our company. I stand with my husband. We work together. Our lives have been our children, the business, our families, and our marriage! These have kept me busy for a long time. Not until recently have I had time for other endeavors. I focused on the charities with my children’s schools and our community. But with all the changes occurring in our lives, things have changed. So now, I’m on to the next phase of my life.”

Peggy says the evening was “awkward” at best and takes ownership of her part in the Shannon drama, but wishes that Shannon would STOP with the yelling already. “Tamra nailed it on the head when she said it was a ‘huge misunderstanding that spiraled out of control.’ All I know is that I will apologize and take responsibility for my share of the misunderstanding, but Shannon…Shannon needs to stop yelling! All she says is “I’m done!” over and over and over again. Yet, she comes back and yells again.”

Peggy has sympathy for Shannon, but is walking on egg shells around her. “In reality, my heart breaks for her. I feel apprehensive and am guarded when I speak to her because I don’t know how she’ll react or if she’ll even listen. Does she hear anyone else when they speak? Regardless, I apologized.”

She ends her blog with, “The end of this season comes with some closure, some hurt feelings, some reconciliation, and much to hope for in the future. Until we meet again…”
