The fans of Jersey Shorecan now breathe a huge sigh of relief as America’s favorite fist pumpers will be returning for a third season of the hit show!
News and reports of a strike hit the web this week as TMZ reported the entire cast refused to film home scenes for the third season because they wanted a raise from MTV. The cast wanted $30,000 per episode, a 200% raise from the $10,000 per episode they earned for the 2nd season.
It seems MTV is very confident in this cast because the 2nd season has yet to air! It is however set to debut on July 29. No word yet on how much the cast will actually receive from MTV. TMZ did report some of the more popular cast members aka Snooki, The Situation, will get more money than their peers. Angelina will not be back for season 3.
In other Shore news, Snookicovers this month’s issue of Steppin’ Out magazine, and dishes on her castmates and the downfalls of fame.
“Myself, Pauly, Vinny and Jenny [J-Woww], we’ve all stayed the same,” she says in the new issue of Steppin’ Out magazine. “We’re the closet friends in the house. I trust them with my life…It hasn’t gotten to our heads.”
Snooki, 22, says she realizes she and The Situation are more popular than their co-stars. “I know the others want the same opportunities that Mike and I get, but we don’t control those things,” she says. “The media isn’t asking for the others so they can’t really be mad at me.”
After acknowledging DJPauly D‘s rising stature as a DJ andJenni “Jwoww” Farley‘s fashion line, Snooki adds, “I can understand why the others might be jealous. They aren’t doing anything, but they should still be happy for me.”
Snooki also gives her sob story touches on the pitfalls of fame. “I miss my old life,” she sighs. “I miss being able to be around my family and at home. I miss going out with my friends and going out to a bar. I can’t do that anymore. When I try to do that, I get attacked by the fans.”
Apologies in advance for the poor embarrassingtragic photoshopping skills. With that being said, let’s get right to the recap of episode 11 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, brilliantly titled – Staub Wounds.
The episode starts out with a scene of Teresa and hubby Juicy Joe, as they get the girls ready so Joe can take them out. For a minute there, I was touched at the thought of Joe being a good father to his little girls, well that is, until Teresa casually mentions that Joe threats their daughters like boys, you know because he hasn’t been able to get the son(s) he wants after 4 tries…
Things then take a disturbing turn when Joe makes his very young daugthers fight each other after their karate lesson. I just found this scene to be all kinds of wrong and disturbing. Nothing wrong with putting his daugthers in karate/taekwondo, but the making them fight each other was just wrong and icky to watch.
We move on to victim Danielle, who has decided the best way to protect her weave self is to take self defense classes, at the suggestion of her ex-con rumored bed buddy Danny, who spends the entire time standing back in ring glaring at Dirty D. Danielle of course is involving her two daugthers in her quest to be the ultimate fighter. Danny suggests Danielle picture Teresa and Jacqueline in front of her as a means to add more fuel to her fighting fire. The Bravo cameras then pan to Danielle’s daugther Christine, who looks pretty embarrassed and would probably rather be back home doing homework at this moment.
Danielle gives us her best dose of crazy during her 1 on 1 interview when she declares, “Walking away is not good enough for them. They want to make you feel like the prey. And then they sit there and they go, I don’t know why you keep you saying you’re the victim. Well Bitch cause I am. Stop effing chasing me!”
The former prostitution coke whore then declares, “It only takes one good smack to the head to make a person never walk again.”
We see Jacqueline at home, and Kim Granatell, who is arguably the most two faced person in the universe, decides to pay a visit. I’m just going to refer to Kim G. as the newest housewife from here on out. I don’t even think she’s auditioning anymore for a slot on the show, she has obviously replaced Dina. No need to wait for a press release from Bravo. So why exactly did Kim G. show up to Jacque’s? Well to stir up the drama pot of course! The two rehash the country club drama and Kim G. informs us clumps did indeed come out of Danielle’s head.
Next up, we see Mama Bear Caroline making individualized eggs for all three of her very adult children. Two of the kids leave to go to work and Caroline and Albie McHottie Manzo discuss his future. Albie informs his mom that he needs to get a recommendation letter from his old law school before he can get into a new school.
Teresa, who filed bankruptcy just a few weeks before this episode was filmed, is shown going into Kim DePaola’s boutique Posche to do some shopping, but then again Teresa is never really shown shopping, but rather talking during her time there. Teresa once again assures the world her house is absolutely not in foreclosure. Stalker Wannabe new housewife Kim G. then randomly shows up, wearing a very age inappropriate sleeveless fur attire. Teresa once again states that she meant well in trying to strike up a conversation with Danielle, despite admitting on last week’s episode of Watch What Happens that her intention was to confront Danielle on some of the rumors she was spreading about her.
Teresa then makes a funny, the funniest quote of the night actually, when she states, “The only thing I regret about that night was pushing Kim G. because she is an older woman and I do respect the elderly.” Hilarious, especially considering that it came from the very unintelligent Teresa. And how old is Kim G. by the way? She can’t be a day younger than 70 60, no?
Frank Neuschaefer broke Ali’s heart last night when he told her he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend Nicole Caruso. ” I did not see this coming,” said Ali, as the two of them cried. She later declared, “I just feel like he’s just the biggest jerk I’ve ever known!”
Even more surprising, the Bachelorette show, which seems to Ali had to say in her PEOPLE blog today about Frank’s actions -
“Now onto the biggest shock of the season for me — Frank leaving. I don’t even know where to begin when trying to explain how I felt when this all went down. I guess I will start by saying that I did not expect it at all. Back in Iceland, I asked Frank about his ex girlfriends. I told him that I could sense that he was not over his ex, so I asked if he still had feeling for the ex that went to Paris with him. He told me that he did not have feelings for her anymore and we moved passed it. My instincts were dead on. I just didn’t have the right ex. I really wish that Frank had been more honest with me. This wasn’t the only time I gave him a chance to be honest. In Turkey, after Justin left, I went up to the guys’ suite, looked each of them in the eye and told them that if any of them had someone back home this was their chance to say something. I flat out asked everyone. Frank said nothing. If Frank has found love, then I really want to be happy for him. However, I have a hard time excusing what he did to me when I gave him so many chances to be honest.
When I first saw Frank I thought maybe he was feeling unsure about the other guys again and that I had to reassure him again. Then I thought maybe something tragic happened and I was super worried for him. I quickly realized that Frank was leaving. I was heartbroken.
After Frank left, I felt defeated. Don’t get me wrong, I was very well aware that I had two unbelievable men left, but I couldn’t help but think that my journey as the Bachelorette wasn’t going to work out. This was not because I thought Frank was the guy for me, but because this was the second guy to leave the show for a girl back home. I remember thinking, “First Justin, now Frank. Who’s next? Can this really work for me?” In addition to that, I didn’t want the last two guys to think they were there by default. I think this was especially emotional for me because it has happened to me before in the past. A guy that I once really cared about left me for an ex
In the end, Frank and I are both better off after what happened. I really cared for him and I always will.”
And when it comes to Frank and Nicole, they are still together. The latest issue of InTouch magazine published the above picture of them kissing. The photo was taken on July 5th and the mag reveals they are both very much in love. The mag also states Frank wanted to inform Ali of his feelings for Nicole earlier, but the producers ignored him, perhaps wanting him to make it farther in the show for a more dramatic exit.

It seems MTV might have learned a thing or two from the last time they had to negotiate with the Jersey Shore cast.
As we reported yesterday, the JS cast is currently on strike, and refusing to film for the all new 3rd season. The reason? They cast wants more money, more than the $10,000 per episode they got for season 2.
During the negotiations for the 2nd season, the cast decided to take a Friendsapproach by all sticking together and striking a deal together. Things are however different this go around as TMZ is reporting some of the popular cast members, aka The Situation and Snookiare being offered more money than the rest.
The first to take the bait? The Situation according to a new TMZ report. His manager confirmed yesterday that he has signed a new deal for the third season. And how much does he stand to make? Just a mere $27,500 to $45,000 per episode. Not bad for a kid who calls himself ‘The Situation.’
As for the rest of the cast, the strike rages on. A new report by the Hollywood Reporter however states a new deal should be reached any day now.
The cast asked MTV for $30,000 per episode — a 200% raise, and it seems MTV is caving in by countering with a number that’s close to that figure. Sources also tell TMZ that MTV thinks they have “magic in a bottle” with this group and would like to keep the cast intact.
The finale of ABC’s True Beauty aired last night with Taylor Billsbeing declared the winner of the hidden inner beauty contest.
Taylor, a 24-year-old former Arizona League Seattle Mariners professional baseball player from Irvine, CA, beat out other finalists Erika Othen, 25, and Craig Franczyk, 29, to take home a cash prize of $100,000 and a spot in People Magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful People issue.
Craig came in third and Erika came in second. And while it seemed Erika had the competition in the bag, Taylor was able to come out victorious.
“I’ve always had these golden dreams to make it to the top and I won. I’m on top right now and it feels awesome. As long as you can learn from your mistakes and work on constantly improving yourself, that’s the take home message,” Taylor said.
In tonight’s new episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, the NJ housewives attempt to move on from the unbeweavable drama that took place last we… Ok not really, tonight’s episode is basically a sequel to last week’s drama.
Danielle seeks her day in court in the wake of the hair-raising (and hair-pulling) tangle. On the other side of the law, Caroline’s son Albie tries to forge his career as a lawyer. Meanwhile, Jacqueline’sdaughter Ashley has to face the repercussions of her behavior.
The funniest part of tonight’s episode however comes in the form of Teresa Giudice and hubby Juicy Joe Giudice. The husband and wife duo, who might or might not be going to prison in the near future, can be seen tonight joking about losing their home while Joe shows Teresa around a pizza parlor and an apartment complex, two new business ventures he plans to open.
There’s a very good chance tonight’s episode of the NJ Housewives is part of the reason the Giudices bankruptcy trustee is now accusing them of perjury and concealing assets. The assets the Giudices are accused of concealing? It just happens to include a certain a pizza parlor and Laundromat.
“Joe owns a construction company. He’s always been an entrepreneur,” Teresa says before asking, “That means a person that own their own businesses, right?”
While showing Teresa around the apartment complex, Joe makes a joke telling his wife they will soon be living in one of the apartment suites.
Teresa however makes it clear Joe was simply kidding. “Joe is totally kidding that I’m going to be living in one of those apartments. That’s never going to happen. I could never see myself living there,” Teresa says at the end of the clip, before winking at the camera. Priceless irony all around.
Danielle Staubwill also be appearing on tonight’s episode of Watch What Happens.

After months of speculation and casting rumors, VH1 has officially announced the cast of Celebrity Rehab season four today.
Most shocking is the addition of professional mistress Rachel Uchitel, who is infamous for her affairs with Tiger Woods and actor David Boreanaz. TMZ is reporting that Rachel, who was the first mistress named in the Tiger Wood affairs thus receiving $10 million from the sports star to keep silent on their relationship, will bag a cool $500,000 for her appearance on Celebrity Rehab.
Rachel’s addition to the show is even more surprising because TMZ reported this weekend that she was in talks to appear on the next season of Celebrity Apprentice. According to the report, Donald Trump asked her to be on the show and she answered yes. NBC will however have the final say on whether or not she will appear on the show. Guess it does pays to be a ho-bagwhore mistress.
As for Rachel’s addiction, a VH1 rep tells TMZ it is an addiction to pills, while UsWeekly is reporting she has no drug or alcohol addictions, adding that the show will focus on her addiction to love and her bad choices when it comes to relationships.
Also joining Rachel for the fourth season is professional hotmess/former supermodel Janice Dickinson, and former star of The Hills & Laguna Beach, Jason Wahler, who has been arrested multiple times in recent years for alcohol related incidents. No word yet on what Janice’s addiction is.
The remaining cast members this season include former teen heartthrob Leif Garrett, troubled actor Jeremy London, socialite Jason Davis, and R&B singer Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie Lons.
No longer appearing on CR this season is Tila Tequila, who signed on to appear on the show back in June. No word on why Tila was dropped from the show.

The former Bachelor“winner” hosted a “Single and Fabulous” party Saturday at Tao Beach and Palazzo Las Vegas’ LAVO. “It was a pretty much a girls-only weekend,” a source tells UsWeekly. “They had fun.
While hosting the beach party at TAO beach, a source reveals Vienna told the crowd, “It’s great to be single and fabulous, Hpnotiq shots for everyone!”
As for how she’s coping with the public split, she is “doing great,” according to an insider. “She went through a tough time, and she’ll never forget it. She feels like she put herself out there and got slapped in the face. It doesn’t matter how thick skinned you are, it’s going to hurt.”
It also seems Vienna is not the only one who made a splash this weekend. RadarOnline is reportingJake Pavelka was photographed on Sunday paddleboarding with a mystery female friend in an attempt to put those pesky gay rumors to rest.
And for the three people who miss seeing Jake on television, fret not as he’s 15-minutes of fame aren’t over just yet. He will be making a cameo appearance on the Lifetime TV show Drop Dead Diva, as well as ABC’s new reality series, Bachelor Pad, when it debuts on August 9. The photos of Jake are posted below as well.
