It seems Jon Gosselin has finally realized the whole world sees him as a douche, or perhaps it’s just that darn pesky threat of multi-million lawsuit by TLC, but it seems the Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad has taken a hint, and now only speaks out when he has something positive to say.
Jon released the following statement via his private twitter account concerning he’s ex-wife, Kate Gosselin’s appearance on Dancing With The Stars. “Congratulations to Kate for joining the new season of DWTS. I am thrilled for her. She has my support and vote,” Jon, 32, wrote.
But it didn’t end there as he continued, “Here is to 2010 for new beginnings and leaving the past mistakes in 2009.”
A “source” however reveals to UsWeekly that’s Jon’s well wishes might not be genuine. “Jon’s angry because doing Dancing with the Stars will keep [Kate] away from the kids for days, and she still won’t let him have extra custody…Nannies will watch them instead of Jon,” declares the source.
Jon’s rep (yes he really has one) however denied this to UsWeekly, claiming Jon is truly happy for Kate.
As previously reported, former backstage host Samantha Harris quit the job a few months back, and Brooke along with Melissa Rycroft and Vanessa Minnillo were the three front runners to replace her.
Many thought Melissa would get the job as she co-hosted the cast announcement just last Monday. However, insiders have now revealed to Star that Brooke, 38, who was also the Season 7 champion, will be co-hosting with Tom Bergeron this season.
The 10th season of DWTS kicks off Monday, March 22, on ABC.
In what is being described as the first blindside of the season, Cirie Fields was surprisingly voted out of her Survivortribe when her fellow alliance member J.T. flipped sides.
Most people seem to think this was both a smart and brave move on JT’s part, but how does the proclaimed “puppet master” feel about being ousted? In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Cirie opens up on her feelings on being voted out, on whether the show host Jeff Probst influences voting, and what she would have done differently. Some excepts are below –
I want to start where it all ended for you: Tribal Council. Were you cringing the entire time Probst went on an on about the idiocy of voting off strong players?
Oh my God! Was I?!? I try not to react when Jeff makes his comments because everyone’s watching, everyone’s listening, and I don’t want to influence any vote one way or the other. And I’m trying to not let what he says influence the votes one way or the other — but absolutely! We sit on these little tree stumps. After Tribal was over when I got up I don’t know if you saw that toothpick fall from right under, but I literally was clenching my behind the whole time, like, “Please, Jeff, just move on to something else!” He was going exactly against why I was telling them we should vote out Tom, so yeah, that was a real clencher for me.
Did you know it was J.T. that voted you off?
No, I wasn’t sure who it was. I felt like Rupert, Amanda, and James were pretty much going to stick to the plan, but you never know. I couldn’t tell. I knew Tom was talking to J.T. a lot and I never trusted J.T. I always said to Amanda, “Are you sure about J.T.?” because I could see J.T. playing. So it was hard for me to figure out which one flipped, but I wasn’t really that surprised.
You take a pretty clinical, strategic viewpoint of everything. So how did you feel about how personal James was getting with Stephenie at that Tribal?
Oh, boy. I like both of them and I even said to James after that Tribal was over, “Was it necessary?” I know this game gets your blood boiling and I know everyone is there to try to win, but I think James’ lack of ability to articulate how he feels made him come across more brutal than was necessary. James will be the first to admit he doesn’t do the social thing, and not having experience in the social aspect and being able to speak to people and get your point across without coming off like a brute, I think kind of hurt him.
You’ve had some time now to sit back and replay everything. If you could jump in Mark Burnett’s magic Survivor time machine and go back and change one thing about how you played, what would it be?
I think I would have tried to spend more time with J.T. and make him feel comfortable and convince him that he wouldn’t’ have been my target later on.
TELL US – WHAT WERE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE LATEST SURVIVOR EPISODE? DID JT DO THE RIGHT THING BY JOINING FORCES WITH TOM AND COLBY? IS RUSSELL PLAYING SMARTLY?
Usually, finale episodes of the Housewives franchise tend to be a somewhat boring send off, but that definitely was not the case with the Real Housewives of Orange County season finale.
We saw Tamra and her husband Simon Barney reach a blowing point in a fight, unlike any that has ever been on reality TV. If there were any viewers doubting the authenticity of this show, that blow-up should be evident enough that this is all too real. Below is a rather long recap and mostly my thoughts on the stars of the show.
Tamra and Simon – I have to start off with these two. Wow is an understatement. Simon’s behavior on last night’s episode was beyond controlling, it was down right creepy and emotionally abusive. Tamra is without saying one of my least favorite housewives, but watching last night’s show really made me feel very sympathetic towards her. This woman was very afraid of her husband. The way he kept trying to “make-up” with her when they got out of the limo was hard to watch. Add on his passive aggressive hostility, and this man is truly a piece of work. My question is has he always been this way? Because this Simon we’re seeing was not the same one Bravo showed us the past couple of seasons. He is truly awful. A while back, I heard a very nasty rumor about Simon and something he allegedly did to Tamra, I chose not to write about this because it is a very big accusation to throw out there, and not something I would want to put out there unless I was 100% certain. I will tell you something, watching him last night, I will say I believe this rumor. I’m not going to say what it is, but you readers are smart, and I know you can figure out the most awful thing a man can do to his wife, other than cheating.
Lynne and daughters – Just when you think Lynne couldn’t become a worse parent, she manages to prove us wrong. This woman is so out of it that she couldn’t even tell her own underage daughters were drunk. Any good parent would have been mortified and humiliated by the behavior of her daughters, but now our darling Lynne. She was more worried about how she looked. She really needs to snap out of it and come back to planet earth. I however felt some sympathy for Alexa yesterday when she mentioned being tired of everyone bringing up their eviction. Kids can be mean, and I’m sure going to school and having the entire world know your business has to be difficult for any teenager. Alexa is the reason why I’m a bit against the housewives putting their children on this show. It’s just not healthy to have the whole world know every intimate detail about them. From what I read recently, Alexa has dropped out of school and is now being home schooled by Lynne. Yes you read that right. And how sweet and mature was it of Kara Keough to comfort Alexa last night?
Gretchen and Slade – Moving on to these two. Gretchen made a comment last night that really threw me off a bit. She called Slade “a great catch.” For some reason, I felt like that comment said a lot about her. Not saying that Slade is a loser, but to call him a “great” catch at this point and time is definitely a stretch. And then looking back on her past choices in men, mainly the loser known as Jay Photoglou, it all made sense. This woman must have some self esteem/self-worth issues, and perhaps some daddy issues. I’m guessing daddy didn’t hug her enough when growing up or something. She also strikes me as one of those women that doesn’t like to be single and therefore refuses to be single, thus dating anything anyone that comes her way. Before this season started, I suspected her relationship with Slade was fake, but after watching this season, it seems the relationship is all too real, which makes it all the more puzzling.

Tamra Barney of the Real Housewives of Orange County has somewhat tried to take the high road regarding speaking negatively of her controlling estranged husband Simon Barney, but it seems last night’s finale episode might have hit a nerve with her, as the OC star is now slamming her ex.
According to RadarOnline, Tamra referred to Simon as a deadbeat dad on her facebook page. Tamra posted Friday morning, “You never know who you married…until they turn into a deadbeat dad!”
A quick check of her facebook fanpage doesn’t show the post but Tamra does have another facebook page that is private, so one can assume she posted this there.
She did however post the following on her public facebook page, “Wow, last night episode made me realize I made the right choice. once your away from the control it’s hard to watch. what did you think?”
Also posted on her page is the a new picture of she and her new beau/Simon’s former friend — Eddie Judge. It’s safe to assume things are moving along greatly for the two.
UPDATE – In other housewives news, it seems former housewife Jeana Keough continues to be in financial trouble. The latest now is that her home is up for auction. According to Realestalker, Jeana has received multiple notices of default on her home, and the house is now scheduled to go up for auction on March 5th. It seems an home going up for auction is very similar to a foreclosure. According to the report, Jeana’s home value has gone down over $2 million. Hopefully Jeana will be able to bounce back from this.

It seems Kim Zolciak has decided she no longer needs the recent publicity she’s been receiving, and has now decided to come out and deny a lesbian relationship withDJ Tracy Young.
The interesting thing is the lesbian relationship rumors only started because of Kim’s doing. She was the one who insinuated she was dating the DJ back in December.
However, Kim has now decided to set the record straight. TMZ caught up with the Real Housewives of Atlanta star this week during which she denied the relationship. “Tracy’s a great friend of mine… I take pictures with a lot of girls,” said Kim. She’s “a great friend, I adore her” … just not in that way continued Kim.
The latest in the Bachelorcheating scandal is that the identity of the woman Jake Pavelka reportedly cheated with has now been revealed.
That woman is 25 year-old Florida native Tanya Douglas. Tanya is claiming Jake contacted her after the taping of The Bachelor and told her that he still loved her. Tanya also claims Jake told her all the women on the show, including his fiance Vienna Girardi, meant nothing to him.
Amongst Tanya’s other claims? Well she is also revealing that Jake told her he was forced to propose to Vienna. “When you get down on one knee and propose marriage to someone I take that very seriously,” she said. “The fact that he did that exclusively because he was instructed to do that, it disappoints me so much.”
Tanya has apparently lawyered up and is looking to tell her story to a major publication in the coming week.
Jake has however come out yesterday denying all cheating claims. He gave the following statement to Entertainment Tonight, “The relationship with [Douglas] was prior to ‘The Bachelor,’ it simply did not work out,” he said. “There was no overlap with that or any other relationship during the show. It is unfortunate that people such as this are trying to financially capitalize on or disparage my incredible relationship with Vienna. I only wish everyone could be as happy for us as we are happy together.”
