Cue the veiled attempts to sweep the ugliness that is Basketball Wives under the rug! Forget all about wine-bottle hurling, table jumping, and rotten fish pranks, Shaunie O'Neal is morphing from being a puppet master for the violent antics of others into a legitimate do-gooder. More power to her!

Even better? She's teaming with everyone's favorite (props to you, Taylor Armstrong!) legitimate doctor, Dr. Charles Sophy, to make it happen. Look out, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder! Shaunie has a cause, and it's focused (no pun intended) on you! I kid, I kid. Kudos to Shaunie for what she's doing to help the less fortunate who have children suffering from ADHD.

Basketball Wives Season 5 Not Airing Until August!

Depending on how you look at it, this is good or bad news. If you are dying to see more of Evelyn Lozada's antics then I'm sorry to say you'll have to wait a long, long while!

The Basketball Wives star announced on twitter that the fifth season won't hit the airways until August! Vh1 is really dangling a carrot in front of our noses since we know all the drama that happened during filming!

The former Basketball Wives star has had her fair share of drama, and since dropping her lawsuit against former bestie Evelyn Lozada's slapping assistant friend, Jennifer has flown relatively under the radar. Of course, once a reality star, always a reality star, so we may be seeing more of the aloof make-up maven in the future.

There's been rumors that all has not been going well for Tami Roman on this seaosn of Basketball Wives (currently filming!). For one, she's apparently not speaking to HBIC Shaunie O'Neal and it seems she is tired of being considered a loud mouth you-know-what and is struggling to redefine her image.

TAMI PROMISES SHE'LL BE MORE POSITIVE ON BASKETBALL WIVES!

“This will probably be my last season, if Vh1 will let us just bow out gracefully,” Tami declared. “I’m looking forward to doing bigger and better things.”

Tami wants to veer into Shaunie-territory and "move behind the cameras" in future TV gigs! Oh dearie.

There are some crazy people in this world…and even reality stars aren't immune to the insanity. Of course, when you think about it, the women on Basketball Wives are slightly off their rockers, so it's a tad ironic that the crazy is affecting them. This time around, new cast member Tasha Marbury is being harrassed by a woman who claims to have had an affair with her husband. The only problem is that Stephon Marbury has never met the lady.

Tasha isn't the only one who is being affected by some negaitve energy. Former BBW star Chad ~~Ochocinco~~ Johnson has also fallen on even harder times (who would have thought that was possible?) of the coconut water variety. It doesn't get much worse than that, does it?

Tami Roman Promises More Balance Season Five Of Basketball Wives

The original Basketball Wives are gearing up for a spring premiere, and Tami Roman promises that it won't disappoint. The show, which isn't even about actual wives anymore, is often criticized for the women's outlandish and violent behavior. However, this fifth season is hoping for calmer cast. I won't hold my breath.

Shaunie O'Neal pretends to be above the drama, but she loves to stir that pot and play puppeteer to Tami and wine throwing Evelyn Lozada. This season the women plan to show more of their family lives and careers in an effort to do some damage control from last season's trainwreck.
