The Manzo family is currently filming their spinoff Manzo'd With Children, so we're willing to be the cameras caught every minute of the big proposal.
Lauren reportedly got engaged back in May of 2012. After we posted the exclusive story, she first confirmed it (even showing off an engagement ring) and then retracted it and said it was completely untrue. It was believed that Bravo asked her to keep it quiet since the proposal was reportedly filmed for an episode of RHONJ, but that never saw the light of day.
There were rumors that this was going to be the first big event to be filmed for the new season, but we have confirmation that the event was not filmed for season 6 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Tom Murro shared with us that his insider at the party said "there wasn't any drama or anything really noteworthy other than the fact that they all held hands and meditated at one point in the evening. Dina held Teresa's hand and they were acting like BFFs. Dina did smell like an English garden and had a trail of fairy dust behind her as she did the downward dog and everyone sang hallelujah just before they meditated… At least that's how I imagined it."
Chris Manzo and his brotherAlbie are expanding their business once again. The Manzo boys' partnership with restaurateurs Michael Sinensky and Sean McGarr of Funbars.com must be doing well with Little Town New Jersey because they are set to work with them on a new venture: the Victory Sports Bar and Club.
Chris and Albie's new bar will be a "Vegas style" sports bar at Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment, according to Us Weekly. The Victory bar is set to open in just a few weeks and then in April they plan to open a rooftop space, "Victory Terrace", which will have views of the city and table service. It's no bikini car wash, but it sounds like a winner.
Anyway, Teresa says she plans to continue with her career on Real Housewives of New Jersey and as for accusations that she's not taking her legal situation seriously, she said putting on a stoic face is all for the sake of her children.
“Look — every family has problems. Nobody’s perfect,” Teresa tells In Touch Weekly (does she have a contract with them again?!). “I have to be strong for my kids.” Yeah, nobody's perfect but most of us imperfect people manage to avoid allegedly defrauding the government of millions. Teresa and Joe have plead not guilty and plan to contest the situation in a trial scheduled for this February.
The site explains that Dina realized the interview would touch on some of the ickiness that is RHONJ, she agreed because it would inevitably help publicize her Goddess Night Out event for Project Ladybug which she is hosting November 11th. Dina shares, "It's our sixth annual Ladies Night Out. I've grown a lot spiritually in the past four or five years, and what I have learned has helped me. I want to share that with as many people. … So, instead of making it just Ladies Night Out, and a great fun party, I'm making it Goddess Night Out. And it's all about inspiring women to embrace the goddess within and being beautiful inside and out."
Melissa Gorga book signing events for 'Love Italian Style' are still going on all over New York and New Jersey. Melissa and her blonde hair hit up New York for some promotion on Sunday.
Joe Gorga tagged along this weekend for Melissa's signing at The Coral House in Baldwin, New York. Melissa not only posed for pictures with fans, she also had a visit from Jay Gotti (upcoming season of Real World San Francisco) and Jenna Russo (Bad Girls Club Vegas?).
Despite the controversy surrounding her book, Melissa continues to defend it as a loving tome about a happy marriage. One of her followers shared this line from the book: "I told him if he was going to build me a house, I was going to build him a home", and Melissa added to it: "#LoveItalianStyle if you read, it's a book filled w/love!"

Jacqueline shared at the event, “My husband and I are so excited to be here and I am so grateful to have family and friends along with us today. I wanted to thank all of you for being here in support of this amazing cause and also being here in support of each other. It's the support of others that give us our strength, hope, and encouragement to persevere on our quest to bring out the best child that our child can be, and remind us that we are not alone.”
