Remember on Real Housewives of Atlanta when model Cynthia Bailey walked down the aisle under a creepy canopy of dinosaur bones to wed Peter Thomas? Cynthia’s silver-gray dress didn’t exactly spell joyful bride. Cynthia’s family was not supportive of Cynthia marrying Peter, and the wedding was tense.
After 6 years of marriage that was punctuated by financial issues and cheating rumors, Cynthia pulled the plug on their shaky union in 2016. Peter may not have wanted the divorce, but it was obviously for the best.
On Real Housewives of Orange County this season, there has been a lot of drama swirling around attorney Emily Simpson, and her
little bitch husband, Shane Simpson. Shane stayed at a hotel to study for the California Bar exam and had no contact with his wife and children. And Shane, and his sarcasm, failed the exam.
Emily surprised her husband with a trip to Las Vegas for their anniversary, where she would perform a sexy dance on-stage. He declined the invitation. Emily went anyway with Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Shane’s parents. I think she rocked it. I admire her confidence! The dismissive way that Shane treats Emily is apparent to everyone– but Emily.
Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter has been making headlines since she came on the show. Unfortunately, they aren’t the good kind. On February 1, Gina was arrested for a DUI.
Her divorce from her ex, Matt Kirschenheiter, will be finalized on December 31. This season, RHOC viewers also saw Gina confess to her
supposed bestie, Emily Simpson, that Matt had cheated on her. Gina also alleged that Matt physically assaulted her.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is loving life right now. Her boyfriend, sportscaster Mike Hill, proposed to Cynthia on July 26th while Bravo cameras recorded their special moment.
We know that Cynthia loves a good hashtag, such as “#CHill.” That one combines her name with her fiance’s. I think that one is cute.
Some things never change on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Kenya Moore made one appearance during the Season 11 finale at Cynthia Bailey’s product launch party, and NeNe Leakes flipped her wig. And then called Kenya a “monster.” It also caused NeNe to cancel her friendship contract with Cynthia.
For Season 12 of RHOA, Kenya twirled back to capture her peach, but she took a massive pay cut to do it. Kenya also recently announced the end of her two- year marriage to Marc Daly. Kenya was let go from the reality show after Season 10 because she didn’t want to document her marriage. The couple welcomed their sweet daughter, Brooklyn Doris, on November 4 of 2018.
Season 10 of Real Housewives of New Jersey returns on November 4, and I am ready for it! We all know that drama with Teresa Giudice will be front and center, given her situation with her husband, Joe Giudice. Teresa and Joe both pleaded guilty to fraud in 2014, and both spent time in prison.
Joe completed his 41-month sentence in March of 2018. He was then taken into ICE custody. Joe never became a United States citizen and was ordered to be deported to Italy by an immigration judge.
Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi and her fiancé (and serial Housewife dater) Slade Smiley traveled a long and difficult road to finally become parents. The couple struggled for years to get pregnant. Slade had to have his vasectomy reversed, and Gretchen undertook multiple rounds of IVF treatment.
Finally, on July 10, Gretchen and Slade welcomed their daughter. A rep for Gretchen told US Weekly, “Skylar Gray is here. They are doing well. They went in about 9 a.m. for a C-section at a hospital in Orange Country.”
It has been an action-packed few days for Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Joe Giudice. In 2014, Joe and his wife Teresa Giudice pleaded guilty to fraud and both served time away
in prison at camp. After Joe completed his 41-month sentence in March of 2018, he was taken into ICE custody. Joe is not a citizen of the United States. An immigration judge ruled that Joe should be deported to Italy.
He filed an appeal, and his lawyer also filed an appeal bond, which asked that Joe be allowed to return to his family in New Jersey while awaiting the final decision on his deportation. That request was denied, so Joe asked to be sent to Italy to await the final decision. Joe left for Italy on October 11, and his next court date is set for November.
