Real Housewives of New Jersey fans learned the sad news that Giacinto Gorga, the father of Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga, passed away on April 3. It was clear that Giacinto, known as “Nonno,” had struggled with health issues recently. Both Melissa Gorga, and Teresa had asked fans to pray for the beloved patriarch of the Gorga family.
Nonno was a part of RHONJ from the very beginning. Nonno loved being in the kitchen. He could boil an octopus like nobody’s business, and I loved seeing him cook with his granddaughters. Ever since the death of Nonno’s wife, Antonia, Nonno had been living with Teresa and her four daughters. He was a huge part of their lives, and a support during Joe Giudice’s incarceration and deportation woes.
I am so happy that Real Housewives of New York returns this week! So, what can we expect? Bethenny Frankel is out, and Leah McSweeney is in with her very own apple.
Luann de Lesseps is back to drinking responsibly (we all hope.) And I am positive that there will be lots and lots of cabaret. But does the tension between Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley continue after last season’s Angel Ball disaster?
Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer has been keeping busy during this coronavirus outbreak. Ramona is self-isolating in Florida with her daughter, Avery Singer, and ex-husband, Mario Singer.
Unfortunately, in March, Ramona was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. Since she has a weakened immune system, Ramona is grateful that Mario has been lending a helping hand. Mario even cooks for the family. Did you really expect that Ramona would cook during her self-isolation period? No way!
Even though the coronavirus outbreak has postponed the filming of the Season 12 reunion of Real Housewives of Atlanta, the drama hasn’t stopped. During the cast trip to Greece, viewers saw another chapter unfold in the on-going war between NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore. NeNe did (or almost) spit on Kenya. Stay classy, NeNe.
After NeNe’s leopard brunch, RHOA star Kandi Burruss made a joke about NeNe’s large entourage of friends that no one knew. Kandi said that perhaps those ladies were invited in case no other guests came. Oh, the shade, Kandi!
I still cannot believe that when Season 12 of Real Housewives of New York debuts on April 2, it will be without Bethenny Frankel. The Skinnygirl mogul announced in August of 2019 that she would not be returning to the show.
Of course, Bethenny’s decision did cause some drama with her RHONY co-stars. Ramona Singer claimed that the cast found out that Bethenny was leaving through the press. Ouch!
Ever since Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson walked away from Real Housewives of Orange County, they have not been able to stay away from drama. Both ladies wanted a full-time position. Tamra was offered a paltry three-episode deal to finish her storyline, but she refused.
Then, in late February, Bravo’s Andy Cohen confirmed that Tamra was going to be part of RHOC Season 15. We don’t know how much of a role she will play.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards has been involved in non-stop drama while filming Season 10. Denise denied rumors that she had a sexual encounter with Brandi Glanville, who is returning this season to help spice up the show.
The other Beverly Hills Housewives were upset that Denise missed filming because of her busy career. Denise was a no-show for the RHOBH Season 10 finale, and that is a big no-no. Maybe Denise is pulling a Lisa Vanderpump, and she will skip the reunion.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey has been given a few surprises recently. On July 26, 2019 Cynthia’s boyfriend, Mike Hill, popped the question at the opening of Cynthia’s The Bailey WineCellar. It was a sweet proposal, and it included Mike daughter, Kayla, and Cynthia’s daughter, Noelle Robinson.
In an episode of RHOA that aired in November of 2019, Noelle confided in her mother that she was sexually fluid. Noelle began to explore her sexuality while she was a freshman at Howard University.
