Tonight, the Real Housewives Of Orange County reunion rolls on into part 2. This time newbie Peggy Sulahian is on the hot seat as she struggles to explain, well, everything since Peggy doesn’t seem to really understand anything at all.
Peggy is questioned about her marriage – is it legal? was it arranged? – her health, her family history, and why she is the Armenian Alexis Bellino. ‘What’s an Alex’s Bellini? Is that something Diko says costests too much?’
Just one day after celebrating daughter Aspen‘s first birthday, Meghan took to her personal blog to share the news that she and Jim are expecting baby #2. Meghan and Jim went the IVF route again and the announcement will be made on tonight’s reunion episode of RHOC.
Anyone who watches Real Housewives of Orange County knows that Kelly Dodd does not hold back when she has a drink or two in her. Hell, she doesn’t hold back when she’s dead sober. This season Kelly managed to be to strike that perfect balance of being a “tell it like it is” person and someone who is likable and enjoyable to watch.
Now that the worst season in RHOC history is over and the reunion episodes have aired, Kelly is spilling all of the details on what really went down behind the scenes. She gets into why she didn’t go with Vicki Gunvalson to the Iceland hospital, why production had no idea Kelly was going to be at The Quiet Woman the night Shannon Beador threw a full plate of food at her, and which cast members need to get the boot next season.
Despite her combative attitude toward Shannon Beador and Meghan Edmonds, Lydia claims that she “went into the reunion optimistic.” She added, “I didn’t want to expect fighting and drama. I was hoping to talk about differences and hopefully move forward and make strides in friendships.”
According to Peggy, Meghan Edmonds needs to back off the attacks on Lydia McLaughlin. She expresses her outrage at Meghan questioning Lydia’s religious beliefs: “There are some topics that are off limits and another person’s faith should be one of them. Why would you dare attack someone’s faith?”
The first part of the Real Housewives Of Orange County reunion was shockingly real as the ladies discussed broken marriages and motherhood. Shannon Beador finally stopped shrieking “WOOOOWWWWW! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! A VOW RENEWAL!” and quit convincing herself that David loves her. Which has always been the real joke. I mean, it’s been over for years – vow renewal and all – but Shannon finally accepted it and moved out. Addendum: David finally kicked her out.
I mean it’s not like anyone believed this happy re-united love story of David and Shannon, although she certainly thought they were this inspiration to us all, but it’s still sad to see Shannon processing everything. Clearly she never saw it coming, which is the saddest thing of all.
The other hot topic was whether Jesus ate Lydia McLaughlin‘s brain, thus making her poisoned by a fear of drag queens. OK, it wasn’t quite that dramatic unless you’re Meghan Edmonds.
Not even some sage advice about marriage and intimacy from Vicki Gunvalson could put MiKelly back together again! Imagine that… (sarcasm). What’s unique about Kelly’s situation, however, is that this is actually the second time she’s filed for divorce from Michael – and this time she hopes to see it through to the finish line. Kelly shares that they’re already working out a custody agreement for Jolie, 12.
