Shahs of Sunset star Lilly Ghalichi recently gave us a glimpse into a very different side of herself. Known as the 'Persian Barbie' because of her over-the-top hair and make-up she normally sports, Lilly recently joined the bevy of celebrities posting make-up-free selfies.
In the Instagram post, she looks almost unrecognizable. The reality star is beautiful in the shot, but much different than we normally see her. Even on Shahs when her glam squad is there to get her ready — it takes a village — her make-up is usually already on. Or at least I cannot think of a time she was filmed without make-up. Maybe it was in her contract.
So what spurred Lilly to post the intimate photo? Not what you think.
"Right before I jumped – and my heart was beating out of my chest – I yelled to Jessica, 'I love you! Will you marry me?'" shared Mike. She yelled yes, then they jumped out of the plane! "I had a picnic with champagne and a 4-carat ring waiting. She kept saying, 'I'm going to be your wife.' It all worked out perfectly."
Jessica shared the above picture on Instagram, adding, "After crying my eyes out for an hour, makeup smeared all over my face, eyelashes dangling, this is the BEST picture we have ever taken!!!!!"
Foot-in-mouth mishaps? Yes, but she seems like a good person, which is way more than we can say about most of her Shahs of Sunset co-stars. Over-the-top and self-obsessed? Well, she's definitely a girly girl, but she owns it.
Four things Lilly loves more than life itself are her family, Coconut, her fiance, and her Ghalichi Glam style. I'm quite smitten with Coconut myself. As for her style, Lilly knows what she likes, isn't afraid to flaunt it, and refuses to apologize for it. I will take that over the fake and pretentious that is Asa Soltan Rahmati any day of the week. Persian Pop Priestess? Um, Pass!
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Marisa Zanuck and Million Dollar Listing New York star Ryan Serhant are Nest Seekers agents.
"Nest Seekers is excited to have yet another celebrity broker in its roster and welcomes Shouhed's expertise in the real estate market," per the press release. "His knowledge, experience, and vibrant energy will be beneficial to the company's new Beverly Hills office."
This week is the NBC/Bravo upfront presentations and therefore a slew of Bravolebrities have descended on NYC. There's a lot of co-mingling of Bravo stars going on as they attend parties and dinners together. Apparently there's a lot of hooking up going on, too! Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi and Million Dollar Listing New York star Luis D. Ortiz were caught kissing last night!
Million Dollar Listing L.A. star Josh Altman was the sneaky photographer who snapped this photo of GG and Luis getting friendly at dinner. Josh shared the pic on Facebook, Wow! "Wow! Sitting having drinks in NYC and just saw this. @luisdortiz and @gg_golnesa having a @bravotv moment."
Lilly Ghalichi may not have made any genuine friends on Shahs of Sunset, but life is so grand for Lilly, she's not crying a river over it. Lilly celebrated her 31st birthday on Wednesday and her fianceDhar Mann helped to make it a spectacular day.
While Reza Farahan hung out at a caviar vending machine somewhere in the valley, Lilly was squealing with delight as she unwrapped her $500,000 Rolls Royce Wraith from Dhar outside Mastro's restaurant in Beverly Hills. Lilly was flooded with fabulous gifts from friends and family – and even from the real star of Shahs of Sunset, Coconut Circles! Coconut bought her mommy two pairs of Louboutins that likely cost more than the gold coins buried outside Asa's house or MJ's yearly budget for Ambien and wine.
Lilly gushed on Twitter, "Thank you for the most incredible birthday jet_set_life and to all my beautiful friends and family."
Check out the photos below of her gifts and dinner party – including a cake that featured Lilly sitting on top of the world.
Lilly and Dhar travel the world. Dhar dreams of kids. Lilly dreams of diamonds. Dharproposes to Lilly, thankfully with a HUGE diamond, and Dhar and Lilly plan a wedding. The only not-so-classic part of this story is, this all happens in less than three months.
Three days, three months, or three years, Lilly insists it doesn't matter. "When you now, you know," she says. "You can know someone for ten years and still not be sure if they're the one for you, and you can know someone for ten days and know you want to spend the rest of your life with them."
Lilly adds, "Dhar is so incredible, I feel like the luckiest girl to have him."
