Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey just wrapped and there are already rumors about next year’s cast. There is a lot of speculation that original cast members Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzowill return to the show which would be very interesting considering their contentious relationships with Teresa Giudice. Plus fellow OG Danielle Staub is back on the scene these days so there is plenty of potential for drama.
Teresa was asked about the possibility of Jacqueline and Caroline coming back and she hurled some harsh insults their way. Now Jacqueline’s daughter (and Caroline’s niece) Ashlee Holmesis firing back.
Now that Danielle Staub is back on Real Housewives of New Jersey, it’s hard to not feel nostalgic for the good old days. The first two seasons of this show were nothing short of iconic. Sure, there have been some epic seasons since then (and some lackluster ones as well), but it’s hard not to miss the original cast.
Dina Manzo lives in California now so it makes no sense for her to be on the show, but there are some rumors swirling that Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo might return to Real Housewives of New Jersey next season. Now the only remaining OG cast member, Teresa Giudice, is sounding off on the rumors.
I never thought I would be mentioning Teresa Giudice and Fetty Wap in the same sentence, but here I am. Then again, they are both from Paterson, New Jersey, so this isn’t really that crazy. I doubt they run in the same circles, but they did actually meet when Teresa took her daughter Milania Giudiceto his concert in Montclair, New Jersey. I would love to know what they talked about in between smiling for photos.
Aside from hanging with Milania at the concert, Teresa continued to be the super mom that she is and supported her youngest daughterAudriana Giudice at her dance competition. A lot has changed about Teresa since Season 1 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, but she is still (and will always be) that mom who will never miss out on the opportunity to take photos of her kids.
Now-former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Siggy Flicker was a guest of Kevin Undergaro on The Tomorrow Show this week and she let her opinions fly free. Siggy shared her thoughts on a number of topics ranging from her experiences working with Harvey Weinstein to her relationship with Margaret Josephs, exiting the show after two seasons and so much more! She also reveals that she will NOT be watching RHONJ next season and also doesn’t believe the friendship between Teresa Giudice and Danielle Staub is genuine.
Siggy shared that doing reality TV is hard work and that it wasn’t her choice to drag out the stupid cake story for so long. She is convinced that there wouldn’t have been any material for season 8 if it wasn’t for her.
“I’ve watched the whole season and I was shocked and I was upset. It takes a toll on you.” Reality TV is not really reality TV. It is a lot of work and you constantly have to bring up the same thing over and over and over. Do you think I want to talk about cake and a I make up a storyline: ‘let’s talk about cake for five episodes’ – I was over the cake after it happened.” She adds, “What you see is what you get with me. If there wasn’t a cake, and there wasn’t the Soggy-Siggy, there would be no season 8. The whole season was Soggy, Siggy, cake, Hitler–everything that I didn’t want stretched out to 13 episodes. I don’t know what it was, but the whole season, I was the target all season.” She does give credit to the other cast members, though, saying everyone “brought it” this season.
There are few things that I love more than a Real Housewife attempting a music career. If the song is great, then that gives me another bop to listen to. If the song is terrible, it’s entertaining for a totally different reason. I will listen to it just as much (if not more). It’s really a win-win for the super fans like myself.
That’s why I miss Melissa Gorga’s early days on Real Housewives of New Jersey when she wanted to be a pop star and her husband built a recording studio in their basement. These days she is caught up with her clothing story Envy and all of that restaurant drama, but if she ever wanted to record another song, I would be all for it.
It’s tough for the reality TV super fans to keep up with all of their favorite shows, let alone all of the cast members on Instagram. Fortunately for you, I did all of the social media lurking for this week’s Instagram Roundup.
Vanderpump Rules stars Jax Taylor, Tom Sandoval, and Tom Schwartz enjoyed a boys weekend away at Big Bear. There’s still no word on who’s the “number one guy in this group,” but it looks like they all had a good time, which is something Jax could really use these days following the recent death of his father Ronald Cauchi.
