Real Housewives of Atlanta's Phaedra Parks will have her day in court against "author" Angela Stanton. It just won't be July 18th as previously scheduled. Y'all remember when Phaedra filed suit against Angela for writing online memoirs which accused Phaedra of a racketeering scheme in which she was the mastermind of alleged grand theft auto. Phaedra is also suing Vibe for publishing and promoting Angela's e-books.
According to Access Atlanta, the judge just granted Angela's motion for continuance, which means the proceedings will be delayed for five months. Angela's reason behind filing the continuance is to give her time to secure new counsel, with the court documents noting that her original attorney had been "representing Stanton on a pro bono basis, always with the understanding that she would secure other counsel."
