RHONJ Season 3

The third season of Real Housewives of New Jersey got down right nasty, and the reunion pretty much goes down in history as the most insane and vitriolic reunion ever. Even worse than when Teresa Giudice pushed Andy Cohen while trying to go after Danielle Staub. No, last year’s reunion was worse as we saw family go head-to-head and longtime friends turn on each other.

Jacqueline Laurita famously sat out, opting to stay home and tweet instead of facing the questions in person. She has kept quiet about what her real motivations were for skipping the mayhem, and even claiming she was sick. Well, Jacs is finally speaking out about why she didn’t take part in C-List celebrity Deathmatch: The Bravo Edition!

“There were a lot of things going on. A lot of things behind the scenes, actually. It was a long build-up. There were a lot of things that got me to that breaking point,” Jacqueline explains to Ranu’s Reviews.

And she is confirming what all her twitter followers already knew – she had a breakdown! “I had like a little breakdown if you will. I just had enough of everything. I just didn’t want to be involved in anything. I just wanted to be alone. I went through something.”

Jacqueline admits she is no more excited about season four than she was about the reunion. Season four has already been filmed. “I have to say Season 4 was a very hard season for me. It was a little different on camera then the pressures I was getting off camera.”

“I always try to do the right thing by everybody and that’s what I always try to do but sometimes people don’t perceive things that way. It was really hard. I went through a really hard time with a lot of it,” she reveals.

As for what viewers can expect next season, she says a lot of changes! “There is a lot of relationship shifting. I think by the time the reunion comes out a lot will be explained,” Jacqueline concludes.

Moving on, Dina Manzo‘s image as the golden and charitable girl just sitting at home with her crystals and cats is about to be destroyed. Our source exclusively tells Reality Tea that Dina’s image, just like her friendship with Teresa, is all for show!

“Little Mrs Charity……is not who everyone thought she was,” our source asserts. “Dina’s social media image is SO farfetched from who the ‘real’ Dina is. Those who really know her just shake their heads and laugh.”

If you’re wondering if Dina and Caroline Manzo have patched things up, the answer is no. They’re still not speaking; nor is Dina speaking to Jacqueline. Many have wondered how Dina could continue her friendship with Teresa, particularly after all the drama with Caroline, and the answer is money! Apparently, the two have a completely business relationship built around mutual favors.

“Teresa taped a segment for her party planning show, Dina’s Party. She needs Teresa to help her with her popularity. In return, Dina attended her beverage launch party and was filmed by Bravo. Their interaction was so fake,” the insider describes. “Dina also wants to come out with a book and she wants to use the same publishing house as Teresa. So, basically it is a business deal. Dina may take to Twitter to praise Teresa but, that is not what she claims behind the scene.”

And even worse, our insider says Dina has stopped caring about her charity, Project Ladybug, now that she has her own show! “Project Ladybug was a charity started by ALL the Laurita sisters. When Dina went on the show [RHONJ], she took it over as if she was the founder and the blood, sweat, and tears behind it.”

“She wanted the glory and the attention associated with Project Ladybug. She wanted to look like the hero,” the source adds. Caroline and their other sister, Cookie Laurita allowed Dina to take the lead and downplayed their involvement, but Dina “only speaks of Project Ladybug as if it were her own.”

Apparently, now that Dina’s Party has come along, Dina barely spends any time on the charity she once claimed to love, and has skipped events to promote her party planning and decorating ventures. The source points to Dina’s twitter account as proof that she has lost interest in the charity. “It is sad but Dina used it to get herself out there more,” the source shares.

Dina made a brief appearance at the Chicago launch of the charity last year and has done nothing more to support the cause. “Dina did nothing for that event but, show up,” the source adds.

Finally, the RHONJ are launching yet another alcoholic beverage. Kathy Wakile, the fashionably challenged cousin of Teresa, recently launched her own Red Velvet Cake Flavored Vodka. In honor of the newest drink I’m sure no one will buy to come out of the Bravo Home Shopping Network, Kathy, along with Melissa Gorga (who will do anything for a photo-op) made an appearance at Bottle King in Wayne, NJ.

Also in attendance was Melissa’s daughter, Anotonia, Richie Wakile and Victoria. Photos from the event are below!

UPDATE – Dina tweeted the following to us in response to our report. She wrote: “@realitytea hey just read ur post! Next time u want a source #truth ask my parents or the parents of a ladybug not an envious loser! Thanks!”

Real Housewives of New Jersey is the gift that keeps on giving! Following last week’s excoriating Bravo blog, Teresa Giudice is claiming the network edited out a portion of her sentiments and she has released the “pieces” that were cut. The reality star posted the complete, unedited version on her personal webpage for your shock and amusement. Oh, lawdy!

In installment two of Teresa vs. the other Housewives — Teresa continues to call out her cast mates and family members that happen to be cast mates! She definitely wants the public (and Bravo!) to know she is not taking a beating lying down. So, when is Celebrity Deathmatch Jersey Style happening? Oh wait… I think it’s already begun!

Teresa starts things off by insisting she is innocent of having a relationship with the tabloids! “I can’t believe Jacqueline Laurita thinks I put out a magazine story that says bad things about ME on the cover. How does that even make sense? I’m not even going to try and follow her logic anymore.”

She also echos what most of us believe — that Caroline Manzo is a little silly arguing her adult children (who signed releases and received payment from Bravo) did not sign up to be a part of the show. “I can’t believe Caroline told the media her ‘children didn’t sign up for this.’ They are grown adults and they actually did literally sign up for it. They have contracts and got paid. What do you call that? And Caroline keeps telling Jacqueline to let Ashley [Holmes] grow up?…” Oooohhhh… sometimes the truth hurts, Mama Manzo!

Accusing Caroline and Jacqueline of being the ones who hold grudges, Teresa brings up She Who Should Not Be Named, New Jersey version: Danielle Staub (her new Twitter frienemy and the reason all this nonsense originally began!) “I know Caroline and Jacqueline obsess about things and people and revenge (What sane person would stalk Danielle’s ex-husband? What sane person would be friends with Kim G? That’s just ugly.).” Teresa better watch out as she appears to be the next target they have selected to “obsess” over!

Also, hinting that Jacqueline might just be having that rumored breakdown we’ve been hearing about, she states: “I just hope she gets well… “ Well, I just hope Chris Laurita deletes her Twitter! How does girl have time to associate with Kim G when she spends day and night Tweeting the masses?!

Then, Teresa actually makes a fair point (don’t hurt me for saying it!) about how reality TV and family may not mix. “Caroline and Jacqueline and Dina [Manzo] signed up for the show TOGETHER AS A FAMILY. It was the first time a family joined any Real Housewives show which I think is what made it so interesting from the beginning. I was just the friend on the sidelines with my juicy husband any my fab-u-lous girls,” she explains.

“I thought it was very brave to go on a show with your family, and I wouldn’t have done it. Watching what being on TV together did to the Manzo and Laurita family is EXACTLY WHY I didn’t want my family on the show with me. Seeing all the hurt they went through, I would be crazy to want the same thing for my family.” Except the one thing I will say in the Manzo and Laurita famblees’ favors is that they kept their family drama off the air which, as we know, is the opposite of the Gorgadiceakiles!

Teresa point blank accuses Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile of coming on the show to “hurt” her! “They didn’t come on like the Manzos first did, just to show the world how a real family looks,” she argues. “They came on to hurt me, insulting me and my husband and my kids from the very first episode through the last (is there a single episode they didn’t say something nasty about me? My own family?).” They insulted her kids?

“I would hope Melissa and Kathy wouldn’t have sold their own sisters down the river for a shot at 15 minutes of fame, but I’m not their sister, and I think they don’t think they care about the hurt it causes me and my parents because we’re not their immediate family.”

Explaining she was “worried” about her family experiencing the negative sides of fame, Teresa reveals she attempted to warn them about the tabloids and becoming victims of “made up stories.”

“I told them stuff they didn’t want to talk about would come up, that people from their past would try and take them down, that journalists would dig through their lives… Melissa told me she didn’t care. Then Melissa brings it up at the reunion as if I was trying to scare her off the show? It’s just twisted. Sad and twisted.”

Teresa goes on to call out her cast mates for having “skeletons” in their closets. “I don’t lay in bed at night worrying that my porn past or previous arrests or unstable history is going to come out because I don’t have any of those things,” she wrote. No names on who has a porn past or an arrest history!

And she insists whatever her family members might reveal about her didn’t matter! “I wasn’t worried that they would come on and expose me because there’s nothing to expose.” Ok, Teresa may not have what she considers skeletons – but isn’t her husband Jr Mafia Joe Giudice possibly facing jail time for multiple offenses, including a DUI? And then there’s that never-ending bankruptcy… And the cheating allegations

Teresa also points out some of the unsavory behaviors of her co-stars (I think she ignored some of her own déclassé behaviors)! “I didn’t expose my daughter’s problems to the world, judging her for a difficult time in her life in front of all of America. That was Jacqueline. I didn’t make fun of my niece/cousin and criticize her all the time and tell the world I thought my daughter was fat and ugly. That was Caroline and her kids. I don’t have a pre-teen son on Twitter using curse words and insulting my own family. That’s Kathy. Bravo, ladies! Class acts, all of you!” She forgot to mention: ‘I didn’t have sex with my husband in a public bathroom on national TV. That was Melissa.’ Really though, class and RHONJ do not mix! Isn’t that why we watch?!

Reality TV doesn’t define me,” Teresa concludes, neither do “big fat bullies who puff hot air because no one will listen to them don’t phase me, rumors don’t keep me up at night. I have my family, we all have our health, we live a very normal, happy life of Sunday school and dance lessons and birthdays and trips to Costco. I am moving on and up to amazing new things.” Keep us posted, T!

And in other RHONJ news Teresa nemesis #1 (or 2 or 3…) Caroline, along with hubby Albert Manzo (sure has been doing a lot of appearances to save face with his wife lately), were spotted at Michael’s restaurant in NYC meeting with editors from People Magazine and Bravo’s SVP of Communication Jennifer Geisser. Which only means one thing – the New Jersey drama isn’t ending anytime soon!

I predict a sob-story interview about her feud with Dina and finally breaking her silence about the brawl in Punta Cana involving the Manzo boys, which likely demoted Teresa from “like family” to “acquaintance” status! I wonder if she’ll also mention Teresa’s – Oops! I mean Jacqueline’s – latest financial woes?! Who would have expected NJ Bankruptcy 2.0!

Here’s my two cents: Either Teresa knows big controversy brings big ratings (which means big dollars and endorsements for her) or she is just furious, fighting, spitting mad. Either way, Teresa garners a lot of attention and keeps things interesting – whether you like her or not! Admit it, she makes a few fair points in her blog, although she certainly fights dirty!

Don’t worry – whatever happens us minions at Reality Tea will continue to work round the clock slaving to bring you the latest gossip. ;-)

THOUGHTS ON TERESA’S UNEDITED BLOG? DO HER ACCUSATIONS HAVE ANY MERIT? WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON? DO YOU THINK THERE IS ANY HOPE FOR THE GORGA, WAKILE, AND GIUDICE FAMILIES TO REBUILD THEIR RELATIONSHIPS?

The drama surrounding Real Housewives of New Jersey continues to explode! Melissa Gorga and Caroline Manzo are scrambling to get their sides’ of the story heard while ostracized castmate Teresa Giudice is indisposed filming Celebrity Apprentice.

Or perhaps they are just responding to the latest round of stories reported by In Touch Weekly, which are rumored to have been planted by Teresa, herself!

Speaking out on New York Live, Caroline did not hold back! “I noticed a change [in Teresa] when other ladies joined the cast,” she revealed. “We were acquaintances, not friends. Off camera, there was nothing — no interaction,” she insists.

“It has been an unbelievable experience. A growing experience, a learning experience, but I’ve had a lot of heartbreak because of it,” she explains, alluding to her rift with Dina Manzo, which she seems to believe was caused or at least exacerbated by Teresa. “So much I won’t say, because I don’t want to hurt anyone. I’m not going to blame the network. For a TV show, I’m not going to hurt someone. I’m not going to do it,” she declares.

Caroline is also still reeling from Teresa’s attacks against her children, who in her mind have never crossed the threshold into adulthood or something. “My children didn’t sign up for this. We put ourselves out there and have no idea.” Caroline insists, claiming they had never seen reality TV before joining the cast and were not prepared for the negativity.

Caroline also joined Melissa and Kathy Wakile for an interview with The Insider where they spoke about, what else – Teresa! Oh, and the upcoming Season 4 drama!

“Why should I feel sorry for someone who walks away from love?” Caroline asks, referring to castmate and never-really-friend Teresa. “You don’t have the right play the victim, when you’re the one doing all the hitting,” she admonished.

Describing her relationship with Teresa prior to the reunion and the explosive stripper-gate incident supposedly filmed the night before, Melissa expresses her shock over Teresa’s behavior. “I get very disappointed in her,” Melissa laments. “When we’re so good, why would you take that chance?”

“We were great, probably better than ever. And I owe a lot of that to Bravo” Melissa explains, claiming that the interaction required for the show brought them closer and helped a positive a more relationship develop.

As for the friendship between the other castmates, Melissa describes: “It’s just easy, there’s no insulting going on.” Caroline and Kathy echo those sentiments, claiming they are supportive of each other, not competitive, and they “help each other” by offering opportunity and support.

Melissa also spoke to Hollywood Life about the reunion and dealing with the sister-in-law from hell on national television. And she believes the other ladies did not gang up on Teresa!

“Everyone was upset with her,” she states. “We had an explosive night the day [before the reunion] — that was a lot of the reason for the bad blood that you saw,” Melissa reveals, refusing to give any more details about what may have happened.

“I felt the pressure she was going through,” Melissa mentions, claiming she tried to keep a low-profile since Teresa and Caroline were embroiled in so much animosity. “Obviously you saw the commotion between her and Caroline, so I didn’t want to sit there and her think that we were ganging up on her. That was not the intention at all. We’re not trying to team up on her. We are addressing the issue. That’s what the reunion is.”

Melissa also agreed that poor plagued by stripper-rumors, Jacqueline Laurita would not have been able to pull herself away from Twitter handle the reunion! “It was something that Teresa has done that Jacqueline does not agree with,” Melissa cites “She just wouldn’t be able to handle a nine-hour filming session.”

As for how Teresa could make amends with her family and her former (maybe never?) friends, Melissa thinks a simple apology will suffice. “We all do things wrong, we’re all not perfect; she just needs to be able to say ‘you know what, I’m sorry.’” Although Melissa confirms: family is family. “I’m always going to be here to support her and her children.”

My Thoughts: Caroline’s new-found relationship with Melissa and Kathy seems eerily similar to her prior fauxlationship with Teresa! And for someone who was merely an on-camera acquaintance she certainly played up the “like family/thick as thieves” angle in S2 and off camera in interviews and appearances. Which is interesting because Caroline emphatically states over and over that she does not lie. Now, I am 100 percent certain Bravo demanded their relationship seem authentic, but Caroline did a mighty good job of convincing us that it was! Also, Teresa’s reactions at the reunion seemed to indicate she believed they had an authentic relationship (although it’s hard to be sure with her).

Second of all Caroline’s children are adults and have been for the duration of filming. Therefore they did sign up for this show – they knowingly signed contracts, agreed to film, and were compensated for their involvement. Does that give Teresa the right to insult their ideas or behaviors in a cookbook for her own financial gain? No, of course not. But the Manzo children are not innocent by-standers in the situation. They insulted Teresa plenty this season and did not seem to have any qualms about their behaviors. The children who truly did not sign up for this show are those of the Gorgas, Giudices, and Lauritas (save for Ashlee).

THOUGHTS? DO YOU THINK THERE IS HOPE FOR TERESA RECONNECTING WITH HER FAMILY AND CASTMATES? DO YOU BELIEVE CAROLINE, KATHY, AND MELISSA HAVE A GENUINE RELATIONSHIP? ARE CAROLINE’S CHILDREN INNOCENT VICTIMS OR IS SHE OVER-REACTING?

On last night’s FINAL episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey I breathed a serious sigh of relief, opened up the wine for a guzzlet or two, and prepared to cringe. I have run out of steam with these people. I’m going to try and cover this the best I can, but there was a lot of yelling about things like Kool-aid that left me confused. So, hang in there!

The show opens with Andy’s attempts at fun by bringing up Joe G-to-the-Orga’s horniness and The Gorgasm? A montage of all the couples’ lovey-dovey moments is replayed, except for Caroline and Albert. Cause I guess they don’t have them – or Caroline just won’t discuss them. Uh-huh. Apparently Joe Gorga has a history of dressing up like a lady – it goes way back to when he was little. This is explains a lot. Did The Gorgas want two Teresas?! Ooooohhh… the stress that image just caused!

Last night’s Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion from hell gave me stress-induced anxiety, like for real! I could not guzzle the wine fast enough! The rage was palpable and the ladies were down right dirty. This made RHONY’s reunion seem almost tolerable. Did I just type that?!

First of all, does anyone remember that notorious website Socialite Rank? Well, I wish we had a website devoted to Housewives Ranking, called of course, Housewives Rank, because if we did The Caroline and Teresa would be neck and neck for bottom of the heap after last night’s dreadful performance! Melissa had her moments of dirty as well, and for the most part Kathy kept her hands clean and imagined beautiful beaches and escape. Me too, Kath!

*Simple Disclaimer – I am a woman without a housewife – I play no favorites. I participate in equal opportunity snarking. All the ladies are ridiculous to a degree (yes, some more than others) and I like to spread the snark around!

In light of all the real-time drama of the past few days, I felt very sad watching last night’s episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey. Teresa, Kathy, The Joes, and Melissa all made-up and seemed to be working positively towards the future, but current drama lets us know it doesn’t last!

These women have sold their integrity and self-respect, and in the process destroyed their families and friendships for a small piece of fame and little bit of extra money. I hope it was worth it. And when no one remembers who they are, except for the fleeting memories of how they once appeared on our TV screens to embarrass themselves for amusement and some designer shoes; I hope the little bit of extra money they earned is at least enough to pay for their kids’ therapy. Lord knows, they’ll need it!

Full disclosure: I don’t believe Teresa set Melissa up. 1) I don’t believe she’s capable of masterminding something that involved. Or keeping it a secret long enough for it to pan out. 2) She seems to really love her brother. I do believe she wants a relationship with him at all costs. As to what happened, I suppose maybe time will tell, and maybe not.
