CBS has finally unveiled the identities of the 11 teams that will be competing of the 16th season of the Amazing Race. And as previously reported, Big Brother’s Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd will indeed be on the show as a team.
The new season is set to premier on Sunday, February 14 at 8PM ET/PT. Another surprising cast member is 20-year-old Caite Upton, the former Miss South Carolina Teen USA who made headlines and became infamous when she gave a such as nonsensical answer during the interview portion of the 2007 Miss Teen USA pageant.
As always, the members of each team already have a pre-existing relationship of some kind. For this season, five of the teams are couples who are married or dating, while four teams feature family members and two are friends or co-workers.
This season’s cast features the usual assortment of models, actresses and model/actresses, it however also features several contestants with more unusual occupations — including a baseball coach, a bull rider, a cowboy, two (soon-to-be former, apparently) undercover detectives, and a 71-year-old personal trainer.
40,000 miles were covered during this season, including visits to five continents and eight countries. The race which began with public transportation to LAX airport (a first for Amazing Race), consisted of the teams flying to Chile, where they encountered “one of the most daunting Roadblocks in the history of the series,” according to CBS. Sounds fun!

Dating couple from “Big Brother 11,” Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder. Jordan is a 22-year-old receptionist from North Carolina and Jeff is a 31-year-old advertising salesman from Illinois.
Father & daughter teammates Steve Smith and Allison Smith from Encinitas, California. Steve is a 57-year-old pro baseball coach and Allison, 23, works in marketing and sales.

Married teammates Joe Wang and Heidi Wang from El Segundo, California. Joe is a 42-year-old sales executive and Heidi is a 37-year-old homemaker/former business developer.
Grandmother & granddaughter Jody Kelly and Shannon Foster from Texas. Jody is a 71-year-old personal trainer and Shannon, 22, works in health insurance.
Rodeo brothers Jet McCoy and Cord McCoy from Oklahoma. Jet is a 30-year-old cowboy and Cord is a 29-year-old professional bull rider.
Married parents Dana Davis and Adrian Davis from Arlington, Texas. Dana is a 39-year-old market manager and Adrian is a 40-year-old in medical sales.
Brothers Daniel Pious and Jordan Pious from Barrington, Rhode Island. Daniel is 24 years old (unemployed) and Jordan is a 22-year-old strategic consultant.
Dating couple Brandy Snow and Carol Rosenfeld from Los Angeles, California. Brandy is a 47-year-old consultant and Carol is a 40-year-old stylist/make-up artist.
