After weeks of will she or won’t she, it appears Jennifer Lopez will return for another season on American Idol!
E! Online is reporting Jennifer, 41, has agreed to return as a judge on AI season 11 alongside judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler.
Jlo had played coy on a return telling BBC1 just last month, “I don’t know. I haven’t been forced to make a decision and I’m glad about that because honestly I’m very on the fence about it.” The first year judge added, “I had an amazing time doing it and I loved it, but I have a lot other things happening, and it’s going to come down to me making a choice of what I want to do for the next year.”
Sources revealed a while back that this was a negotiation ploy by Jlo who received a mere $12 million in comparison to the reported $18 million fellow new judge Steven Tyler received. It is rumored Jlo was offered a staggering $20 million to return!
According to E!, the announcement of Jlo’s return is expected any day.
