Evelyn Lozada Speaks Out, Says Chad Johnson Needs Help; Evelyn Loses Family Member To Cancer

The crazy train of drama keeps rolling for Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada and her soon-to-be ex husband Chad Ochocinco Johnson.

After getting into a physical fight over the weekend, which ended in Evelyn fleeing to the neighbor’s house and Chad winding up in jail, Evelyn has reportedly moved out of their home and is planning to press charges against her husband of less than 6 weeks. Evelyn reportedly told the police officers who took her statement that she intends to press charges against her husband, the recently fired Miami Dolphins wide receiver.

Evelyn did finally break her silence and reached out to TMZ, stating that she’s upset that Chad didn’t own up to his actions (he swears SHE head butted HIM) and hopes he gets help.  “I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me. It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well.”

In the midst of all the chaos, Evelyn’s brother-in-law lost his battle with cancer last night.  Anthony Ochoa, who was married to Evelyn’s sister Sylvia for ten years and shared two children with her, passed away yesterday after a long fight with the disease.  Evelyn shared, “Anthony was an amazing husband, father, and brother-in-law. He will be dearly missed.”

Anthony even appeared in several episodes of the now-canceledEv & Ocho‘, as he played a key role in Evelyn’s wedding – walking her down the aisle and giving her away.

It’s sad for her family that they can’t relive and enjoy those bittersweet moments caught on camera, but I’m sure at this point nobody wants to watch that wedding planning and ceremony play out after all that’s transpired.

Real life is what happens when the reality TVcameras stop rolling….
