Did Bachelor Pad’s Lindzi Cox and Kalon McMahon Break-Up? Plus, Chris Harrison Dishes On The Cast!

The craziness of the Bachelor Pad never fails to disappoint.  While the resident good girl from Boring Gray Flannel McGee's season seems to have found love with the baggage hating (unless its Louis Vuitton) bad guy, it makes me wonder, do opposites really attract?

According to sources the answer is no.  The very tan sweetheart Lindzi Cox has been seen canoodling with resident playboy bad guy Kalon McMahon, but did they outlast the insanity of the Bachelor Pad's third season?

According to sources, the Some Kind of Wonderful-esque couple (please tell me some of y'all get that reference) are no longer…although Lindzi may still be in the dark about the break-up.

Radar Online reports, “Kalon’s been telling people that while he had a good time with Lindzi on the show, he’s not ready for a long distance girlfriend. She lives in Seattle and he’s in Houston and he says he doesn’t see how it would work.”

The same insider adds, “In fact, he’s been out with several women since the show wrapped. He was even spotted holding hands with one at a recent movie premiere in LA. You don’t do that if you’re serious about someone else.”

So are they or aren't they?  The insider reveals, “Physically, yes, they’re together right now. They’re both in LA because the cast taped the finale Sunday. I’m pretty sure they hooked up later that night.”

Continuing the source concludes, “Since then, Kalon’s been staying in a place at the beach and Lindzi’s there with him. But once they both fly home, I don’t see him staying committed to her. When he talks about it, he sounds over the whole thing.”

So, basically, love can't outlast an STD ridden frat house.  Shocking.

But wait, can it?  Wet Paint confirms that the duo is still together.

He tells the site, "I know how hard a long-distance relationship is, because I'm doing that with Lindzi right now."

As for the difference between Lindzi and Bachelorette Emily Maynard, Kaylon explains, “Well, I could talk all day about that one, but I'll try to keep it brief for you guys. They are obviously very, very different people. I think we are all very, very different people. When you're put in a situation to meet a stranger and see if you could develop a relationship with them, that can be very awkward unless you already do have a lot in common. And unfortunately, Emily and I did not have a lot in common. But given the circumstance, I was absolutely willing to make a genuine effort to see if anything could happen. Lindzi on the other hand, it was just natural. If Lindzi was that girl that I would've just ran into in real life at a bar or at a friend's house or whatever I might be, that we would absolutely be kind of drawn to each other, strike up a conversation and something would probably organically form. Emily, on the other hand, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to pursue in real life, but given the circumstance, you're put in the situation where you kind of have to see if there's anything there. Being with Lindzi was literally just effortless. We kind of started hanging out and talking, and before we knew it, we looked around and realized, ‘Wow, we're kind of a couple. This is awesome,’ and I wouldn't change it for anything.”

When asked if things would have been different if Lindzi was chosen for the next Bachelorette, Kalon states, “I don't know. It's hard to say. I mean, obviously I would hope it would've gone better, because I was very, very attracted to Lindzi in many, many ways. But it's so funny. ABC sets out to form these couples and let people fall in love, but as crazy as it may seem, Bachelor Pad is actually a much, much healthier environment for that. I know it's hard to believe considering what goes on there, but you know, you actually get to spend time with that person that you're interested in everyday, all day long. You're not spending incremental time with them for just 15 minutes here, 20 minutes there, and then going back to a house full of crazy people who are all competing for the same person. That is not at all how you form a healthy relationship unfortunately. So I think getting to spend that much time with someone, that's really how you get to know them. So it was obviously much, much easier for us to kind of form and develop a healthy relationship in that environment, believe it or not.”  A picture of the happy couple is below!

Moving on to another skeeze ball in the house, Chris Harrison explains Ed Swiderski's random charm…even though you so want to hate him.  Chris explains to Reality TV World, "Ed makes every situation worse. He doesn't mean to, and you can't help but like Ed."

The host with the most continues, "Even [his partner] Jaclyn [Swartz]loves Ed, and she knows in her heart and brain she should not. Every woman Ed has probably met realizes, 'I should not like this guy, no good will come from it.' Yet they fall for him. Even Jaclyn sitting there when he told her he's into another girl, she was still into it and couldn't help it. I guess he's addicting."

Of the players on the show, Chris says, "Ed is a well-educated man and Jaclyn is a smart woman so I really thought they would do well. Despite public appearance, those are two of the smarter people on the show."

Chris admits, "The way we made them do it back and forth with somebody is not an easy way to spell. So, I'm going to give them a little bit of slack here. I don't know why I thought [Kalon McMahon] and [Lindzi Cox] would be so good, but I thought they would hang in there. And I did not foresee Chris [Bukowski] and Sarah [Newlon] being such a force."

Everyone's favorite host also weighs in on America's favorite villian, telling the site, "I know Kalon is easy to dislike, but for some reason I don't. I find him pleasantly amusing and I think he's a lovable character. And he and Lindzi bring out the best in each other. I know he's in on the joke when he throws out these jewels sometimes."

How do you NOT love this show and all the randoms who continue to appear on it??  Plus, Chris Harrison is super easy on the eyes.
