As you all are well aware, there is a lot of reality celebrity news that gets really old really fast. Kim Kardashian's pregnancy, anyone? I'd say that staleness goes double for reality feuds…unless it's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Brandi Glanville and Leann Rimes. For me, their silly beef never gets old. It is beyond entertaining!
Whether it's a Twitter battle or a photo op war, these women love to let everyone know their issues. It's brilliant–it keeps them both in the media (remember Leann's "tearful" interview–with no real tears–where she hated to be called a homewrecker in light of her true love?), and, selfishly, it makes me giggle. Given her first stint on RHOBH, I would never think I'd be Team Brandi, but I totally am. Forgive me in advance for a pro-Brandi post. These ladies are cray. I would love the opportunity to drink wine with them one day…in the same room, of course. Clearly I'd wear a helmet.

In the latest Tweet debacle, Brandi is doing what she does best…taking passive aggressive digs at her ex-husband's new wife. Her latest status is priceless as she reminds her followers that Leann is taking her boys into a different world. Judging by Brandi's home this season (I'm not judging…I roll over and I'm in my kitchen) has shown how humble she's willing to be. She's spoken out about how she and ex Eddie Cibrian lived above thier means. I respect that…and it leads me to believe that Leann's former famous life is bank rolling everything regarding her new family.
Brandi writes, "Ok Im super excited my kids are moving into a mansion but I want to throw up in my mouth and swallow it- having to keep hearing about it :)" Listen, I'm not a mom yet, but I can totally understand how it would be hard to watch your kids get something that you can't give them from someone else. My heart goes out to nersty Brand. 🙂
Not being a reality celeb–yet (bwahahaha!)–it boggles my mind what these people will do to stay in the spotlight. Apparently, tipping off the paparazzi about one's whereabouts is a big thing for those D-Listers who hope to remain relevant. Leann has been accused of such, but we'll get to that in a moment. Brandi wants to make sure that her fans know she's not about a tabloid photo-op. She tweets, "Just saw pics the boys & I online at Walmart no I wasnt wearing makeup & no I dont have cheek implants but yes we do eat fastfood sometimes." While I appreciate her honesty, I think her status was a quick witted, passive aggressive response to the news that Leann has photogs on speed dial. I'm not judging. Check that…I'm not judging Brandi. Leann is still up for debate.
So…here's some news! Leann is allegedly setting up photo opportunities to make sure she's still in the spotlight. According to Radar Online, a source confirms that Leann and the paps have had a business relationship for years. That would explain all of the totally made-up smiley trips to Whole Foods we've seen from Leann of late. The most recent photo shoot shows a recent family vacay to Mexico where a very fit and happy Leann is captured frolicking in the waves. No one looks that happy in a bikini unless they know someone is watching and they have time to suck in their stomach…or in her case, suck in an already sunken in abdomen.
I'll be honest…that's just sad. While I find their back-and-forth to be hilarious, I also realize that this is people's lives. Leann, to me, seems to need some self-esteem boosters out of the limelight, but I'm not betting that will happen any time soon. In the meantime, Leann needs to call me (no lawsuits, please!) to let me in on her secret to that flat belly!
