Well, it appears the rumors were true! Kate Gosselin just can't go away…it's as if reality television is her own form of crack. This go-round, the former Jon and Kate Plus Eight star will be switching lives with Kendra Wlikinson for Celebrity Wife Swap. I guess ABC is taking a cue from Bravo's housewives' franchise and not requiring its "stars" to be actual wives…
The women will spend a week in the other's household, trying to maintain order with the family rules before implementing a system of her own. I can only imagine how drill sergeant Kate will fare when she returns home after laid back Kendra has been in charge!

According to Us Weekly, two total opposites are going to be trading lives…although I guess that is the point of the show!
Kendra and Kate are going to step into one another's shoes for the ABC show. The network announced on Wednesday that the pair will be switching, homes, children, husbands (well, Kendra's at least), and lives. Poor Kendra. Check that, poor Hank! He and Little Hank will have to live with Kate for a week!
On the flip side, Kate's eight kids are probably super excited to get a break as well. The twelve-year-old twins, and eight-year-old sextuplets are used to a super strict mom who likes to tan and get her nails done. Having a fun loving, over-the-top former playmate leading the household could be such a treat…and it will give some major cool points to the boys–at least when they get older and can look back on the episode and brag to their friends.
While it will no doubt be difficult for Kendra to go from caring from one child to caring for eight, she seems like she's up to the challenge. Kate may appreciate the break as well. She recently tweeted, "Getting ready to do some errands and kid activity drop offs! Thinking about what to pack for school lunches and make for dinner too! Kate's restaurant is open!"
The craziness between Kate and Kendra will air on Tuesday, February 26 at 8 PM ET. It is booting my favorite sitcom Happy Endings to Friday nights. Celebrity Wife Swap had better be worth it!
