Kim Kardashian To Be The Subject Of A New Documentary? Plus Rob Kardashian Insists He’s Successful

Morgan Spurlock becomes a paparazzi for a documentary as Kim Kardashian arrives at LAX

Sometimes worlds collide. Like when really smart and accomplished people team up with Kim Kardashian! Sort of.

Morgan Spurlock the acclaimed filmmaker behind movies such as Super Size Me is working on a new documentary about fame and celebrity.

Recently Morgan (my fellow West Virginian – woot!) was spotted behaving like a paparazzi at LAX as part of a mob desperate to snap photos of Kim. Morgan's rep told the NY Daily News that nope, he's not a fan or anything – it's all in the name of art. "It's for a project on celebrity and fame, It’s for a project that hasn’t been announced yet. He’s in the field shooting."

The subject of the film is apparently the actual behaviors of the paparazzi. From SPLASH, the agency selling the snaps, "Getting mixed in with the large group of photographers waiting, absolute chaos broke out when Kim walked through the arrivals area and although Morgan tried to even shoot through the limo windshield he still commented that he got no pictures."

Apparently Morgan is fascinated by the interior world of celebrity obsession. Either that or he truly is on a quest to discover why exactly the Kardashians are famous! Wouldn't that be quite the project? A video of the mob scene is below.

Moving on to other Kardashians who are considerably less famous – let's talk about Rob! Poor Rob is still shilling socks and he's insisting to The Wallstreet Journal that he has no desire to actually be Keeping Up With The Kardashians

"I don't necessarily care about the show," Rob insisted. "I don't necessarily care about the show. I would rather film this – me doing what I do – than being around my family," he said referring to selling his sock line, Arthur George.

Rob does admit that he's very lucky he gets to mix family with business, though. Yeah, because some people have real jobs! "But everyday I get to work with my family — if I want to."

"And I'm all about family, that's how I was raised. We've all got each other's backs," Rob maintains. "And thank God, I have the opportunity to do what I love, which is my family and work on a business and try and make it the best that it can be."

Rob also reminds us that some of his sisters have jobs outside of the various reality shows, although he's not sure what their long-term goals are. As for him, he's Mr Independent! "I'd like to do my own thing and focus on what I love. If people accept it, they accept it. If they don't, they don't."

Quick question – just how many favors did Kris J have to phone in to get Rob interviewed by the WSJ?
