Basketball Wives’ Tami Roman Rushed To The Hospital After Fainting Scare

Tami Roman Attend E40 Triple Album Release Party

We love to snark here at Reality Tea (it's kind of our thing), but we would never wish ill on anyone no matter how much they annoy us or how vile they seem to be in their everyday lives as they're caught on camera. I have to say that I'll never condone Tami Roman's atrocious behavior on Basketball Wives, but I hated to learn that she was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after fainting. Thankfully, she's doing much better!

The reality star is busier than ever these days, reportedly starring in her own reality show Roman Empire and prepping to act along side Halle Berry in a new CBS drama produced by Steven Spielberg. Seriously, how did that happen? Do you think Halle Berry looked at her agent and was like, are you kidding me? And Spielberg? E.T.? Saving Private Ryan? Indian Jones? Anyway, I digress. I just find the pairings odd. #understatement. Where were we? Oh yes, Tami had a health scare.

I really don't mean to be flippant, and I was relieved to hear that she is alright. It's just weird to picture Tami going from hanging with Evelyn Lozada to working with serious, legitimate, timeless Oscar winners…plural. There I go digressing again! According to the YBF, Tami was rushed to the hospital after passing out in Houston due to stress and dehydration.

Tami's publicist updated fans on her condition by releasing a statement, sharing, "Tami is rehabilitating at a private hospital in Houston and is expected to make a full recovery. Tami is currently filming two TV shows, traveling back and forth between Houston & Los Angeles so her body became overwhelmed."

TMZ is now reporting that Tami has been released after suffering a diabetic emergency. Tami's daughter found her unconscious in her Houston home and called 911. She spent one night in the hospital before being released yesterday morning. It sounds as if Tami needs to relax and take a break for a while. I'm happy to report that she's doing much better, and I will certainly be tuning in this new CBS drama. Curses, Spielberg
