Fresh off the news that Countess LuAnn de Lesseps has been brought back on as a full-time player on the Real Housewives of New York, LuAnn herself reveals that she is bringing back her fashion line with a Fall Collection.

“Busy working on the Fall collection of The Countess Collection Styled for Living. Can’t wait for you to see it. Will be on Shop HQ again in October! xo,” she wrote on Facebook on Monday.

And you would think hard at work on a Fall line would leave little time for Hampton’s drama, but alas, this is the Countess. And it seems the drama just seems to follow her everywhere she goes.

Of course, there are two sides to every story. But Page Six is reporting that witnesses spotted Countess LuAnn at a recent Hamptons party, sitting and talking with Katie Couric. The seat next to her had recently been vacated by her date, who headed to the bar. (Not another #Chairgate!! Is this Housewife problem turning into a trend? I hope not!)

The witness went on to explain what went down next. “The party was very crowded and there were not enough seats. Bettina (heiress and writer Bettina Zilkha) had a plate of food and wanted to sit, but LuAnn said the chair was taken and her date had just gone to the bar. Bettina then yelled right in front of the crowd, which included Katie Couric, Whitney Fairchild, Martha McCully and Steve Kroft. She threw a fit, waving her arms.”

Now, Bettina of course has another version — in which she doesn’t sound like a loon! “I had been sitting in that seat and I got up to get some more food, then I came back and she [LuAnn] said, ‘You can’t sit there.’ It was a little strange, but it wasn’t a big deal. It was a misunderstanding.”

Can we put a call in to Katie Couric and get the real deal?

Whether LuAnn is stealing chairs in the Hamptons or not, one thing is for sure — her clothing line is coming back with a vengeance.

“I wanted to launch a sportswear collection: three dresses, three pairs of pants, three blouses and a cropped jacket. The on-trend collection of figure-flattering and easy-to-mix-and-match styles features a signature swirl pleated jersey dress with a hint of stretch in my favorite vivid pastels and prints, jewel-toned cut-out and animal print sheaths, the perfect cropped jacket, lace pants, a classic stretch ponte slim leg black pant and beautiful printed sheer tops.”
