Women earn only 78 cents on the dollar compared to men, but Caitlyn Jenner is bucking that trend (along with many others). She will reportedly be paid a whopping $6.4 million dollars for her new “docuseries” (reality show)  I Am Cait, which covers Caitlyn’s steps in transitioning from a man to a woman and will air on the E! network in late July.

“It’s the biggest paycheck ever given by E! for a solo reality show, and Caitlyn’s agent was relentless in getting her the huge payday,” an insider tells Radar Online. Sources claim that Caitlyn’s agent indeed played hardball, even shopping around other networks when E! didn’t initially cough up the money. “At one point, talks … had broken down because nobody wanted to pay her more than $2 million. Caitlyn’s agent then began informal talks with other networks, and E! quickly came back to the table, ready to pay $6 million,” says the source.

As a comparison point to previous gigs, Bruce Jenner used to rake in roughly $40,000 a pop for his motivational speaking gigs, and was paid $35,000 an episode for suffering through appearing on Keeping up With The Kardashians.
