What’s that sound I’m hearing? Oh! It’s the entire Kardashian empire’s heads simultaneously exploding. News broke today of MTV nearing the end of contracts to produce a new reality series with Amber Rose and Blac Chyna, sworn (social media) enemies of most of the Kardashian – and Jenner – women. I picture Kim, Khloe, and Kylie smearing war paint under their eyes at this very moment, armed only with selfie sticks.
Amber Rose skyrocketed to stardom for her high profile romances with rapper Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West. West notoriously dogged Rose after their relationship was over, spilling in a radio interview that “It’s very hard for a woman to want to be with someone that’s with Amber Rose… I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim.” Rose has also been very outspoken about Kylie Jenner’s questionable relationship with rapper Tyga, who he left his baby mama (and Rose’s friend) Blac Chyna for. Rose stated in a Feb. 2015 interview, “[Tyga] should be ashamed of himself. For sure. He has a beautiful woman and a baby and left that for a 16-year-old who just turned 17.” (Kylie is now 18.) Big sister Khloe got into it on social media with Rose after her statement.

For her part, Blac Chyna, also a former friend of Kim Kardashian’s, has played the part of Kylie’s nemesis on social media to the hilt, with both women posting warring selfies on Instagram and Twitter. And eyebrows were raised just this month when Tyga allegedly re-gifted a Mercedes G-Wagon to Kylie for her 18th birthday that had formerly been driven by his ex, Chyna. (Phew. Are you keeping up with this mess?)

TMZ reports that the new MTV reality series will not focus on the Kardashian feuding with Rose and Chyna, but will follow the daily lives of it stars who are, “recently single, working mothers with high-profile rappers for baby daddys and money in the bank.” No word yet on the show’s premiere date, or whether any of Rose’s or Chyna’s famous exes will make a cameo.
