Whoa! Breaking news out of Pittsburgh this morning! Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller was just indicted by a federal grand jury on 20 counts of bankruptcy fraud, concealment of bankruptcy assets and making false bankruptcy declarations!
The charges stem from a petition Abby filed back in 2010, hoping to reorganize her ALDC dance studio finances. According to WPXI.com, she is accused of “concealing income she earned between 2012 and 2013 from her performances on the show and related spinoff TV shows, as well as from dance sessions and merchandise sales.”
They allege that Abby tried to conceal more than $700,000 in income! If found guilty, she’s facing five years in prison and a huge fine of $250K – for each of the 20 counts!
Abby must not be too worried about the situation since she was in the Dancing with the Stars audience on Monday night, smiling away, seeming to not have a care in the world…
