The upcoming BravoCon could be quite pivotal for the reality TV production company, as some portions will be available to stream. In 2023, Bravo faced more criticism than ever, including calls from many former TV personalities to boycott the channel and the upcoming convention.
It could be that criticism that led Bravo’s parent company, NBCUniversal, to try something rather experimental this year. Bravo announced that elements of its annual convention would be streaming on Peacock for 2023.
Of course, this decision might go beyond Bravo’s reputation. In the age of the streaming wars, it makes sense that NBCU would do anything possible to bolster its service. And they’ve offered some tantalizing benefits for subscribers.
Which BravoCon events will Peacock stream?
In a press release from NBCUniversal, the parent company announced that Peacock would host “the Ultimate Fan Experience, Including Exclusive Panels, Five Episodes of “BravoCon Live with Andy Cohen!” Interviews with Bravo’s Buzziest Bravolebrities and More.” New content will be available via Pacock’s BravoCon Hub from Friday, Nov. 3 to Friday, Nov. 10.
Among the panels highlighted in the press release were the casts of Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of Atlanta, as well as the Bravolebrity Shop-off, “a one-stop shop featuring some of Bravo’s top business mavens pitching their most beloved products.” The shop-off will feature the opportunity for viewers to make at-home purchases via an on-screen QR code.
The three panels will be available on Peacock shortly after their BravoCon debut. Moreover, Peacock will feature “same-day content from BravoCon’s Bravoverse Live Stage featuring interviews with Bravo’s must buzzworthy stars.”
All five episodes of BravoCon LIVE With Andy Cohen will air on Bravo starting November 5 and will stream on Peacock the next day. After BravoCon, Peacock subscribers will have access to panels featuring the casts of Below Deck, RHONY Legacy, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Southern Charm, and Summer House.
BravoCon takes place between November 3 and November 5 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
