Quad Webb on Married to Medicine Cast: ‘They Do Things to Me That They Wouldn’t Want Done to Themselves’

When returning for Married to Medicine Season 10, Quad Webb had to face the difficult reality of having to share space with her ex-husband’s new wife, Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford. M2M is known to get messy, but this storyline has brought us to a whole new level.

In a recent interview with Blavity, Quad chatted about the unusual circumstances she’s found herself in this season. Her theory is that Sweet Tea’s casting was part of a “strategic plan” plan. Either way, when faced with Sweet Tea’s casting, Quad said she had to choose whether to engage or disengage. She chose to engage (and negotiated a higher paycheck in the process). However, she doesn’t think any of her castmates would have the courage to jump in the ring like this.

She’s got it, and they don’t

Quad is certain that Sweet Tea’s casting was the result of messy co-stars and producers. But, Quad doesn’t believe the other M2M cast members could deal with this awkward situation the way she has.

“I felt that a lot of my cast members couldn’t be in my shoes and walk in my shoes, and this particular situation would bring on my ex-husband and his new wife and still remain standing, poised and cool, calm and collected and graceful,” Quad shared.

She continued, “In fact, I know a lot of them wouldn’t be able to do it. Jackie [Walters] herself has said if she ever were to divorce Curtis, that we are not allowed to be Curtis’ friend, much less accepting someone else and accepting another woman.”

As Quad pointed out, some of the Married to Medicine women have even admitted to not having the strength to do what Quad is doing this season. Dr. Jackie said she couldn’t do it, and Dr. Heavenly Kimes recently said that she wouldn’t do it either.

“If y’all would’ve brought daddy back with his new wife I wouldn’t of – but I’m not Quad, that’s a whole different situation,” Heavenly shared in an interview. “Me in that situation would’ve been very different.”

Quad can pat herself on the back for her strength. But, knowing that her castmates wouldn’t be able to sit in the hot seat like her isn’t a comforting thought. It sounds like this particular plot is just part of a bigger problem she has with her M2M circle.

Quad explained, “So, I just find it interesting that a lot of times on the show, they do things to me that they wouldn’t want done to themselves.”

Married to Medicine Season 10 continues on Bravo, Sunday nights at 8/7c.
