Who Won Special Forces Season 2: World’s Toughest Test?

It didn’t come as too much of a surprise when Olympian Erin Jackson won Season 2 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. The endurance of a sportsman no doubt came in handy.

More of a surprise, however, was seeing two Bachelor Nation stars go home with the gold. Nick Viall and Tyler Cameron made it all the way to the end. The Season 21 Bachelor and The Bachelorette’s Season 15 competitor respectively managed to tough it out.

The two attributed at least part of their win to their previous time spent on reality TV. Nick explained, “What we did on The Bachelor really, I guess, affected us in ways that somehow prepared us for this.” See the difficulty of their final trial below.

Nick and Tyler’s “torture” and “fear” on Special Forces

Nick and Tyler spoke with Hollywood Life about some of the show’s most grueling trials. Nick described the “cold, the stress positions, [and] the noises,” as “torture.” Tyler spoke similarly, revealing that “being cold struck a genuine fear” in him.

“With the bag over your head, you lose sense of time,” Nick explained. “You’re a bit delusional. You just don’t know how much longer you have to put up with that pain. I think that was the challenge for me. It’s just like, I think I can do this. I don’t know if I can do this. But how much longer do I have to do this? I would never want to do that part again.”

Tyler shared a similar sentiment. “I remember in the second interrogation, I was so scared that he was just going to find ways to just make me cold and torture me more because I was just trying my best to find ways to get warm and I couldn’t.” He continued, feeling he’d get “colder and colder and colder, and I did. It was miserable. It was the worst thing I’ve ever been through.”
