Personally, I found Love Is Blind Season 6 a bit hard to connect with as many of the couples didn’t form a deep bond right out of the gate. Now, I love Charlotte, NC, and I really thought the Queen City would be the perfect place to set up pods. And just like seasons before, there were plenty of love triangles between the single men and women. By the end of the season, five couples had gotten engaged and traveled to the Dominican Republic. But all is never fair in love and war, as we found out at the reunion. Here are some of the most shocking moments from the Love Is Blind Season 6 reunion, when (nearly) everybody got back together.

Sarah Ann and Jeramey are dating

Jeramey Lutinski and Sarah Ann Bick really hit it off during their pod dates, but in the end, Jer decided to propose to Laura Dadisman. However, the transition from the pods to the real world didn’t do them any favors. Fortunately for him, the reunion showed that love still blossomed as Jeramey and Sarah noted that they had actually become a couple. During the tell-all, the duo revealed that they were currently living together.

But there is still some trouble in paradise with Jer admitting, “We’ve gone through real-life relationship stuff since we’ve been together. We did realize fighting through things continuously that we do love each other, and we wanted to support each other through this process itself … and were still fighting for that every day.”

Despite all of that, Sarah Ann hears wedding bells. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one.

Trevor addresses leaked texts

Trevor Sova was perhaps the slimiest snake of them all, as viewers found out he was actually in a relationship while filming took place. Did no one else get the vibe that he was a jock? A total meathead just by his PR photo? Guess not.

Trevor was caught with his pants down after texts had been leaked online. Allegedly, he had sent them to a women upon entering and leaving the experiment. Trevor wrote he “had to pretend that the show wasn’t real life.”

During the reunion, he was grilled about the texts with the project manager calling himself “toxic. I admit that. I need a lot of therapy.” It only got worse as Trev tried to state that he wasn’t “technically” dating the woman even though he sent an “I love you” to her. Kinda creepy! But host Vanessa Lachey has defended him. Did he really not know what he was letting himself into?

Matthew didn’t show up

Matthew Duliba was the villain of Season 6, mainly for his crappy pod behavior. The senior financial advisor was not cast in the best light since social interactions were not his strong suit. I could empathize with the man; he wanted to grow, but instead, he always chose to walk out the door mid-conversation.

Matt explained what went down from his point of view over on Instagram. He said a “Key element of my story that was never disclosed is that I live an alcohol-free lifestyle and did the experiment sober. It was a key factor in why I had so much difficulty connecting with women in the beginning. There were also many misrepresentations and falsehoods created, in my opinion, to smear my character.” And while he claimed he looked forward to sharing his side in person, Matthew declined a seat on the couch.

Kenneth was torn up about Brittany breakup

Brittany Mills and Kenneth Gorham got off to a great start in the pods and really had some major chemistry. Between bonding over their religion, morals, and background, I thought these two had a fighting chance. The boat ride from hell highlighted their issues as they sat in silence with not a peep between them.

Even though their breakup seemed pretty subtle, it turns out the middle school principal was heartbroken, telling fans, “I totally understand how that looks. I can own how the perception is… but everyone processes differently. I called Clay in shambles.” But there is a silver lining to the cloud as he shared he now has a deep friendship with Brittany, and the two talk every day, stating, “The bond that we have is going to last for an eternity, and I’m happy with that.”

Jessica joins Netflix dating series Perfect Match

The last big news drop of the reunion was that Jessica Vestal would be joining Season 2 of Perfect Match. The beach-themed Netflix-verse series will show multiple singles, including Jess and two other stars of Love Is Blind, who are once again looking for love. Good luck, Jess!

Love Is Blind Seasons 1-6 are available to stream on Netflix.
