Christine Quinn’s Estranged Husband Avoids Felony Charges After Arrest

It looks like Christian Richard has one less thing to worry about. Amid his bitter breakup with Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn, the twice-arrested real estate entrepreneur has narrowly avoided felony charges. Alas, his legal troubles are far from over.

A slap on the wrist

Christian’s first arrest happened when he threw something at Christine. He missed and struck their toddler instead. What exactly he threw at her remains up for debate. She said it was a bag that had a glass object in it. He said they were arguing over uncleaned dog droppings and that he threw a bag of wash rags at her. Either way, the cops arrested him for domestic violence. Shortly after, they had to rearrest him for violating an emergency protection order that Christine filed against him.

Now, according to Radar Online, Christian is getting off easy over the domestic violence charge. At the time of his arrest, he was booked for assault with a deadly weapon. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office told the outlet that the felony charge had been dropped but a court would decide whether he’d be charged with misdemeanor offenses.

Throughout this legal back-and-forth, Christine has argued that she has proof of Christian’s abusive behavior that day. She said that security footage from inside their mansion would prove that he threw something in a violent outburst. Plus, she claimed to have had pictures of their kiddo’s injuries in addition to a security video where the courts would hear the glass breaking across his head.

Although Christian may have dodged a felony charge, the court of public opinion will definitely remember the terrifying accusations Christine levied against him. In court documents, she said that two days before his arrest, they got into a spat where he threw dog poop at her and peed on the floor. Clearly, she’s demanding full custody in their divorce.
