Christine Quinn Says ‘Trash Needed To Be Taken Out’ Before Selling Sunset Return

Christine Quinn is heading back to Selling Sunset after several seasons away from the Netflix hit. During her original run, Christine became one of the show’s most polarizing cast members, regularly clashing with her co-workers.

Now, she’s returning to a very different Oppenheim Group. Several familiar faces are reportedly leaving ahead of Season 10, including Mary Bonnet, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani, and Sandra Vergara. And according to Christine, those changes may not be a coincidence.

In fact, when asked why now felt like the right time for a comeback, Christine suggested that some housecleaning needed to happen first.

Christine Quinn’s comments about former Selling Sunset cast members

Christine recently stopped by The Oppenheim Group offices to film for the new season. On her way out, TMZ asked what made now the right time to return to the show.

Her answer was simple. According to Christine, “the trash needed to be taken out.”

She then added that she also needed to be divorced from her ex-husband, Christian Dumontet, before making her return. They had a very When asked if the timing had finally worked out, Christine said timing is everything.

The comment comes as reports continue to circulate that several longtime cast members won’t be back for Season 10. Mary, Emma, Chelsea, and Sandra are all reportedly exiting the series, so fans probably won’t need much encouragement to start connecting the dots on who the “trash” was.

Christine spent years embracing the role of Selling Sunset’s resident villain. She even recently completed a stint on VH1’s House of Villains. So, is that version of Christine making its way back, too?

She didn’t give much away, but said viewers would have to tune in and see before adding, “It depends on the day.”

New cast member Jordyn Braff was also there and offered a small tease about what’s ahead. Jordyn said she loves working with Christine and Heather El Moussa, describing them as women who are always selling houses while still serving looks.

Whether Christine is returning as the villain, the peacemaker, or something in between, one thing is already clear: she hasn’t lost her ability to get people talking.

Filming for Selling Sunset Season 10 is underway, and a premiere date hasn’t been announced yet. Past seasons stream on Netflix.
