During his recent Watch What Happens Live appearance, a fan wrote in to ask Tyler about being The Bachelor. The question was: “Be honest, roughly how many times has ABC asked you to be The Bachelor?” Tyler answered, “Probably like, four times. Four or five times.”

Andy Cohen was surprised, saying, “Wow! And you’ll never do it?” Tyler responded, “Now, never say never. You know, my theory in life is like, tell the greatest story you can tell. And maybe one day, down the road, it could be a cool story. But not right now.”

And for those prospective contestants who may appear in Tyler’s hypothetical season, the man laid down his opinions on some relationship tropes. In a game called Bacheloretiquette, Tyler revealed he’d wait anywhere from 24 to 72 hours to sleep with a girl he was really into. Although, he expressed that was more of a minimum. “I’ll wait it out,” he clarified.

When questioned on whether the man should always pay for the date, Tyler responded, “Yes. Always.” He also opined that being “A bad texter,” was a red flag that too many people ignored. Other red flags included spending too much time on a phone and being rude to service workers. Tyler also agreed that withholding a phone password was sketchy. “What do you have to hide?”
