Meri Brown has been put through the wringer time and time again. Being a part of the Sister Wives family clearly wasn’t easy for her. It couldn’t be easy for anyone. For Meri especially, given the recent passings and anniversaries in her life.
Nevertheless, despite all the turmoil she faced with Kody Brown, she had to admit that she didn’t regret any of it. While she “never anticipated a divorce was in my future,” she was grateful for the journey. “I don’t regret my marriage, and I don’t regret my divorce.”
She added, “I look back and am grateful for the experiences and the lessons.” Now, Meri is ready to move forward with the experience and lessons at her back. The TLC star confirmed that she was dating again.
Meri will “know” when she meets her match
On April 29, Meri posted a clip from a recent interview. During the interview, in response to whether she was seeing someone, she said, “Not exclusively.” However, she confirmed that she had “gone out on a few dates.” She further explained, “Prince Charming has not arrived. I’m not really looking for a prince.”
Building off the metaphor, Meri continued, “No, I’m looking for a king. There’s a bit of an energetic difference there. A prince is still a boy. I want a man who knows who he is.” Regarding qualities she looked for, she mentioned self-confidence and an emotional match to this stage of her life.
“I want somebody who knows who he is and is confident in who he is.” She explained, “Because I know who I am and I’m confident in who I am and I need somebody who can match my energy. When we cross paths, we’ll know it.” Here’s hoping Meri does indeed find a king. A king with no attachments to any other women.
