Tzarina Mace-Ralph is feeling down this season on Below Deck Down Under. Thankfully, she has a clear friend in Captain Jason Chambers, who is showing his support for his chef online. As this season airs, fans see Tzarina feeling stuck, trying to appease everyone on board. Thankfully, her guests have had zero complaints about her food, but at least one of her colleagues keeps singing a different tune.

Lara Rigby and Tzarina have worked together before. But things are tense between them this season, as Tzarina feels like Lara is trying to turn Alesia Harris against her in the galley.
Lara and Tzarina both have their faults. But after Tzarina walked into a room where these women were discussing her, Tzarina grew solemn, explaining that she felt “pushed out.” Viewers and Captain Jason weren’t amused.
Replying to a fan who disagreed with Tzarina’s feelings, Captain Jason penned a supportive clapback. Tzarina then reshared his response via her Instagram Stories, noting it is “Always good to have a captain’s support.”
In his rebuttal, Captain Jason told this viewer to “rewatch” what happened in Episode 12. He agrees that Tzarina “was clearly pushed out.” Likewise, “her shutting down was the confrontation she had with other crew members.” Captain Jason then reminded this fan that the galley on BDDU is a “tough” place that sees “no light of day,” which does little to help the emotional states of those who reside within.
After reminding us that no one has complained about her food, Captain Jason signed off with his wish for the rest of this season. He desires everyone to “get it together as a team.”
Watching Tzarina feel pushed aside or gossiped about is no longer fun. We want off this storyline ride, just like Captain Jason and Tzarina. However, only a handful of episodes remain. We’ll have to wait and see.
