And yes, this new spin-off would feature hand-selected Real Housewives stars, each hired to enter another Housewives’ home to act as the interim wife.
The original series is Wife Swap, which aired for seven seasons during the early 2000s. Viewers watched this mess religiously, so consider fans eager to watch this new concept, featuring familiar, often hotheaded faces, on Bravo.

Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition will see the camera crews following various members of the Real Housewives franchise to a new locale. No, these selected women are not going on a tropical vacation. Instead, they are taking off “their stilettos” and “stepping into a Real Housewife’s shoes,” according to a recent Bravo press release.
Sadly, Bravo failed to tease or even reveal which Housewife or Housewives might appear. But that’s okay. Our imaginations are already hard at work, casting this mess in real-time.
