If you’re looking for someone to get in touch with your late uncle, please don’t call Tyler Henry right now. The celebrity medium just announced on social media that he’s on bed rest after undergoing brain surgery. Doctors discovered a tumor, so he’s not going to be communicating with any dead relatives for a little while.
Tyler Henry revealed he had surgery for a brain tumor
The 29-year-old, who shot to fame on Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry, shared his diagnosis with his Instagram followers on Wednesday, May 14. His doctors discovered a colloid tumor near the center of his brain that required surgical excision.
“Brain surgery was a success! Great prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family,” Tyler shared with his followers.
“I’ll be on bedrest for a month and look forward to getting back to doing readings,” he continued.
Colloid tumors are non-cancerous. Tyler said doctors removed most of his in the surgery. He also managed to squeeze in some jokes in his post announcing all of this. But, this wasn’t the first time he’s had to have a surgery like this, which might explain why his post seemed so nonchalant.
“This isn’t my first rodeo with this, and I have so much to be thankful for – I’ll see ya’ll very soon with lots of thought-provoking subjects and of course, readings,” Tyler noted.
Underneath the post, Tyler got an outpouring of support from stars from across the reality TV universe. Everyone from Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley to Abby Lee Miller shared positive words for Tyler in the comment section. He’s reality TV’s favorite clairvoyant, and everyone is rooting for him to get back to what he does best.
