Just because a divorce has been settled doesn’t mean both parties left happy. And it looks like Nikki Garcia (Nikki Bella) is on the hook for monthly child support and a six figure lump sum in her divorce from ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev.
While the divorce was settled back in November, it was only recently that the amounts they settled on were allegedly revealed. It looks like the former WWE wrestler and business woman will be paying the Dancing with the Stars pro a hefty sum for both child support and one time payment. But at least, she keeps all of her trusts intact.
Nikki Bella will pay Artem Chigvintsev $200k alongside child support
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Nikki will be paying Artem a monthly fee of $3,200 for child support for son Matteo. Nikki is also responsible for covering Matteo’s speech therapy. But the former couple will go half on all of his extracurricular activities.
In addition to this, Nikki will also be paying Artem a lump sum of $200,000 with $100,000 payable now and the remainder before the end of the year. It’s better than the spousal support he was reportedly seeking.
She is walking away from the settlement with all of her trusts still in her name, including Bonita Bonita and Stephanie Nicole Garcia Entertainment.
Artem and Nikki will also co-parent Matteo and plan to split up major holidays. They’ll reportedly trade off each year.
With all of the money she has to fork over monthly, it’s no wonder the nugget of wisdom post-divorce that she shared with Kristin Cavallari is to “get a prenup.”
The end for Artem and Nikki started last year when Nikki called the police after Artem allegedly attacked her. She filed a restraining order, he filed one back claiming she was the aggressor. And it was all downhill from there.
TMZ reportedly reached out to the former couple about the settlement documents, but they didn’t hear back.
