We can’t cover every news story ourselves. Fortunately, there are a lot of great sources for reality TV news and gossip. Check out these links from some of our favorite sites in the April 21 edition of Tuesday Morning Tea.
Whether you agree with the results or not, the people have spoken. The People’s Choice Awards went down on November 10 and there were some big winners in the reality TV categories. And even the people who didn’t win showed up
to get some press enjoy the party.
I’m not gonna lie, I wish I got an invite because there were cast members from some of my favorite shows in attendance and I would just love to see them all interact. Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, The Bachelor, and Keeping Up With the Kardashians cast members showed up for the award show.
Talk about leaving on a high note. Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel recently dropped the bombshell that she is once again packing up her Birkin bags and leaving the show. The news came as a shock to fans since Bethenny really brought the drama last season and was even credited for saving the show.
Other than the big meltdown in Miami when Bethenny went off on Luann de Lesseps, B was surprisingly simpatico with the rest of the cast. Maybe because Carole Radziwill was out of the picture, and no one else stepped up to call her out on her BS. However, not everyone in the Bravo family was supposedly all sunshine and rainbows with Bethenny last season.
After an unusually long hiatus, Dancing With The Stars is FINALLY waltzing its way back into our lives. We LOVE this show. It gives celebrities in need of spotlight some much needed extra attention. It’s usually stars we haven’t heard from in a while with nothing to lose by doing the show. There’s nothing that gives us more life than a D List celebrity attempting to dance.
This show is been a juggernaut for ABC, and that isn’t now changing anytime soon. The series has been a fan favorite since 2005 when General Hospital star Kelly Monaco samba’d to victory. Kelly powering through a wardrobe malfunction for a perfect score is still so iconic. She may have been the first, but there have been 26 winners since. Will will be the 28th? Luckily the cast is FINALLY revealed, and WHAT A LINEUP.
Dancing With The Stars has led to a lot of happy romantic pairings. Sometimes that sizzling dance-floor chemistry spills over into real life. Pro dancer Kym Johnson dated her dance partner, Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec. The duo later married. Peta Murgatroyd wed fellow pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Emma Slater and Sasha Farber also got hitched.
Sometimes it’s fun to go to a wedding. Other times, it just feels like an un-fun obligation to attend. Just imagine the dance floor at a wedding with Dancing With the Stars cast members. That has to be a fun time, right?
What a journey Nikki Bella has been on since her split from John Cena last year! Fans of Total Bellas have seen Nikki embrace a new carefree rebellious attitude post engagement. She’s buying sports cars, smoking cigars, and FINALLY flirting again. This has been a far cry from the Nikki who was having a breakdown at her engagement party last year. Both her personal and professional lives are on the verge of reaching new heights in this next chapter.
Nikki’s recently HEADLINED THE FIRST EVER ALL WOMEN’S EVENT for WWE. That is a historic accomplishment that nobody can ever take away from ever. That event will go down as one of the greatest comebacks, and she did it alongside her sister Brie Bella and Ronda Rousey. On the personal side, she’s been somewhat shy at opening herself up to love again. However, we now have MAJOR updates on her status with WWE and the dating scene.
