Dancing with the Stars Season 34 is beginning to take shape. The first contestant confirmed is none other than internet’s heartthrob Robert Irwin. The brother of DWTS winner Bindi Irwin, this casting choice has fans thrilled to see what he can do.
The second contestant for the season has just been unveiled. The celebrity pick is Alix Earle, and if you haven’t heard of her, you might not be checking your #fyp.
Who is Alix Earle, Dancing with the Stars’ (DWTS) latest celebrity contestant?
Since starting her online career in 2020, she has gained over 10 million followers across social media. From modeling opportunities to her relationship with NBA player Braxton Berrios, her vlog-style videos show it all.
The 24-year-old is also the host of Hot Mess, a lifestyle podcast under Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network company.
Alix recently sat down with Good Morning America to break the exciting news. It was during the segment that she revealed why this opportunity is full-circle for her.
“I mean, I’ve always been a fan of Dancing With the Stars. I used to watch it when I was so young with my grandma and she would always say to me, ‘Maybe one day you could be on there,’” she explained.
The social media star did make it clear that she’s not a dance pro in the slightest. But, she’s willing to give it 100%.
“I would like to say I have some rhythm, maybe, possibly. But I’ve never done ballroom dancing or danced with a partner, so that’s going to be a whole new venture for me.”
Her dance partner hasn’t been revealed just yet.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 is expected to premiere in fall 2025.
