Summer is heating up and so are tempers on The Valley.
In a clip from Season 2, Episode 8, Jasmine Goode pulls Jason Caperna aside for a chat about the ring thing. But she can’t seem to talk to Jason without his ever-present wife Janet Caperna interrupting them.
As Janet continues to cut Jasmine off, the former NFL cheerleader becomes frustrated and emotions escalate. Instead of just talking to Janet and Jason, she ends up in a contentious situation, and Janet urges her husband to “just leave.”

“What’s going on?” Jason asks.
“The ring thing?” Jasmine responds. “I heard it years ago.”
“How many years ago?” Janet interrupts.
“Let me finish, Janet,” Jasmine says. “Do not cut me off, cause this is what you do.”
At this point, Janet turns to her husband and says, “Let’s go. [I’m] done.”
But Jason urges her to stay, as Jasmine begs, “Let me talk, Janet.”
When Janet accuses The Bachelor alum of “yelling,” she fires back, “I’m yelling now … cause you walk away … I’m talking to Jason right now. Let me talk to him.”
Janet asks, “Where did you hear about it?”
“I heard it from a group of friends,” she answers. “Melissa [Jasmine’s fiancée] heard it, too. A lot of people did. I didn’t care.”
“So you heard this rumor two years ago,” Jason says, “and then you just sat on it.”
“No, listen,” she responds. “The fact that it was brought up, that sucks … I did not believe it then, I don’t believe it now.”
“You brought it up,” Janet interjects, stepping on Jasmine’s last nerve.
“Janet, I need you to shut up right now,” she threatens. “I’m about to get loud.”
Finally, Janet says, “I’m walking away.”
That’s the point where Jasmine loses her sh*t. “Janet, you have been a sh*t-ass friend,” she says. “You are a f*cking vibe killer, you’re exhausting, you give Karen energy [she totally does!] and I’m f*cking done.” Rumor has it, she’s also a Vanderpump Rules fan who somehow worked herself in with the VPR cast.
“Good riddance to my beach day,” Brittany Cartwright sighs.
The Valley airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo in the US and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
