Yesterday a 37-year-old mother of three young children was killed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Minneapolis. She was a U.S. citizen, born in Colorado, who was never charged with any crime beyond a traffic ticket.
Renee Nicole Good, a self-described “poet and writer and wife and mom” had just dropped her 6-year-old son at school. As she was driving home with her partner, they encountered ICE officers.
Video filmed by bystanders and posted to social media shows an officer approach her car, demanding she open the door. When she attempted to pull forward, another ICE officer standing in front of the car pulled his weapon and fired two shots into the car at close range. Though she was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for wounds to her head, she was pronounced dead shortly afterward. The Valley star Zack Wickham responded to the incident on his social media.
Zack says ICE are “just shooting people on the street”
Captioning his post on X (formerly Twitter), Zack wrote, “Everyday it just keeps getting worse and worse.”
“Okay, I’ve tried to film this video, like, 20 times,” he said in the clip. “I’m gonna keep it to a couple bullet points, because honestly, I keep rambling and then I get angry, and then I wanna throw my phone … It goes downhill from there.”
“I will just say,” he continued, “the actions of these ICE officers in Minnesota, it’s completely deplorable. We are idly, somehow leading ourselves into a dystopian future where Trump can, all of a sudden, take over a foreign government because he feels like it.”
Furthermore, he added, “None of our allies knew about it or wanted that or had approved that. Congress hadn’t approved it. It’s insane. And now you have ICE just shooting people on the street.”
The PR/media consultant went on to warn, “If we don’t change something now, it is gonna be very, very bleak. And I just don’t even know what to say, but what happend [yesterday] is crazy.”
The Valley Season 3 is set to premiere on Bravo sometime later in 2026. Meanwhile, Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Peacock.
