Our favorite cheerleaders are back! Netflix just dropped the Season 2 trailer for America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and fans are already getting their high kicks ready. America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders returns for Season 2 to Netflix
The squad is back for the Dallas Cowboys 2024-2025 football season. The Thunderstruck entrance has been practiced a thousand times by now, and the boots have been broken in.
Netflix just dropped the trailer for Season 2, which will stream from June 18. Naturally, we are already hooked. And as the team comes together, drama is always just around the corner.
As fans know, everything is bigger in Texas, including the drive to call yourself a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. The series will showcase one cheerleader who has tried out before and fallen short. And another, a legacy, trying to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Another potential candidate adds, “I have three jobs; four if you count DCC.”
Make no mistake, the competition was tough this year. One veteran notes, “We’re excited that there’s a lot of new girls. Every year, the talent just gets better and better and better.” One new fresh face tells cameras, “We’ve always been told, there’s a 100 more girls who would love to do this job.”
Kelli Finglass, the DCC director, isn’t beating around the bush either and is one tough cookie. Judy Trammell, the choreographer, notes, “It’s hard when you have to put your heart aside,” to which Kelli replies, “Yeah, but at what cost? The pressure doesn’t go away, we just cut a good one.”
Nevertheless, fans are ready to watch the tension unfold as a new batch of girls fight for their chance at the iconic pompoms.
America’s Sweethearts: DCC can be streamed on Netflix.
