In case you missed it, Lindsay Hubbard announced at the Summer House Season 9 reunion that she and Turner Kufe split up after welcoming their baby daughter. Unsurprisingly, it had everything to do with the fact that Lindsay is a public figure and Turner wanted nothing to do with that.
“As of right this second, I think there’s a lot for us to figure out when it comes to parenting, coparenting, my lifestyle, me being public, him being private,” Lindsay said at the reunion. “It’s too much at once.”
Now, Lindsay’s Summer House co-star Amanda Batula is spilling more tea about the breakup. She revealed that co-parenting struggles are what really sank things for Lindsay and Turner.

Lindsay and Turner started dating officially in January 2024. They welcomed their daughter, Gemma, in December 2024. You can do the math on that relationship timeline.
Soon after Lindsay shared that she was in a relationship after her split from Carl Radke, she also made it clear that he wanted to keep her man’s identity private. They went Instagram official, but she had to put an emoji over his face.
Now that the news is out that their relationship ended, Amanda spoke to Us Weekly about what went wrong between Lindsay and Turner. She echoed what Lindsay said at the reunion, that public life versus private life weighed on their romance. Adding Gemma to the equation just made things worse.
“Once they had the baby, too, I think the biggest issue at that point wasn’t that Turner was private. It was that he also wanted Gemma to be private, and they sort of disagreed on that,” Amanda dished.
Amanda, whose marriage has been on Bravo since the beginning, said she could understand why Turner’s desire for privacy would weigh heavily on Lindsay’s relationship. However, she felt like Turner could have made a compromise. After all, he knew what he was getting into.
She added, ”[He] didn’t have to be on the show, but like, you know, be a part of her Instagram Stories [and] be a part of her behind-the-scenes stuff.”
