There were some very impressive reality TV star Halloween costumes this year. Sure, some people just threw on an animal ear headband, but most of them really went all out. Lisa Rinna dressed like her Real Housewives of Beverly Hillscostar Erika Jayne and absolutely killed it. When Erika posted the photo on her own Instagram, it took me a few seconds to realize that it was Lisa and not Erika.
Every season, Summer Houseruns into filming difficulties. It is very much expected for them to be less than welcomed by the Hamptons residents.
Something unexpected that happened is five cast members getting cut. Danielle Olivera and Amit Neuman had no shot at coming back for Season 3. They were just too nice and normal to make a mark on this show. They had no story line and no one is at all surprised that they got fired. However, it is pretty shocking that Stephen McGee, Lauren Wirkus, and Ashley Wirkus will not be on the show anymore. Now there are rumors about two possible replacements for next season.
A lot of reality stars were gathered in NYC last night for the OK! Magazine Summer Party! A slew of ladies from the various Real Housewives franchises, the Summer House cast, Teen Mom stars, and more were spotted at the event together.
The original home from Summer House didn’t survive from Season 1 to Season 2 and neither did two main cast members and by that I just mean that their reality TV stardom is over (or at least halted). Unfortunately they will no longer be an official part of the show, but might just be hanging around with their friends.
That would annoy me if I were them, but I guess they have to take what they can get. And who knows if they were actually fired or if they quit for some reason. Most likely, it was the former, but you never know. Not everyone’s real career is suited for reality TV.
I feel like Stephen McGee was everyone’s favorite cast member from the first season of Summer House– well except for Lindsay Hubbard and Everett Weston. They are not Stephen’s biggest fans and vice versa. As the newcomer to the group, Stephen wasn’t really involved in most of the drama. Instead he provided the fans with “that’s exactly what I was thinking” commentary in response to the group’s antics.
Even though the first season is (sadly) over, Stephen still has a lot to say about what went down last summer and since the show started airing. He shared his opinions on the cast’s love lives (including his own) and he even revealed who actually paid for the summer house last summer.
