As a long-time Summer House fan, I was devastated to learn about Lindsay Hubbard’s breakup with Turner Kufe. The mother of one has been through nine summers of looking for love. Only for her knight in shining armor to fall short. She’s made the sandwiches, prepared a PowerPoint, and worn the shoulder pads, but no matter what she seems to do, love eludes her.

Lindsay spun her story in the best possible PR light that she could. While talking about her partnership with Turner, the Hubb House owner just slipped in that the duo was no longer together.
The 39-year-old revealed the shocking information on Part 2 of the Summer House reunion. She shocked her co-stars by sharing that she and Turner hadn’t been together for several months. Lindsay did gush that Turner was a better father “than I ever could have expected. We put our romantic relationship on pause for now.”
As jaws hit the floor, Lindsay added, “We are just focused on being the best parents we can possibly be to Gemma. We are co-parents, we are an amazing team.”
Gabby Prescod noted that it was hard to clock that the couple had broken up. Lindsay agreed, saying, “Yeah, because you wouldn’t. We are like the best of friends. Even on the weekend, when we don’t have our nanny and it’s just the two of us tag-teaming being parents, we’re out to brunch, we’re going to visit friends.”
Turner currently spends half the nights with Lindsay, but they are not friends with benefits.
Lindsay Hubbard and Turner Kufe are all about co-parenting
For the Summer House star, it is all about putting Gemma first. While talking to Andy Cohen, she shared, “We’ll see what happens in the future. But as of right this second, I think there’s a lot for us to figure out when it comes to parenting, co-parenting, my lifestyle, me being public, him being private. It’s too much at once.”
The entire cast agreed that the pair came to a mature decision. Gabby shared, “We’ve had discussions about it, and I feel like she was like, Turner’s such a great dad to Gemma, but he’s not the person romantically for me. I think that’s a level of maturity to realize instead of trying to make it work just to stay a family, it’s like, I’m gonna try to find somebody else who can be the man for me and not the dad, because Gemma already has a dad.”
Lindsay, who is an OG, noted that being on reality TV was hard for the couple’s dynamic. “It’s a struggle,” she admitted. “Dad is private, mom is public, and what does that make baby? It’s hard. With being public, you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. Regardless of if I am not on Summer House or on Summer House, I’m still Lindsay from Summer House.”
Will Lindsay Hubbard return to the Summer House cast for Season 10?
During Part 2 of the Summer House reunion, Lindsay mentioned that she would be heading back out to the Hamptons for the 2025 summer season. But she did admit she didn’t know in what capacity she might return to the hit series. She told Andy, “I’ll be out there. I don’t know if I’ll be living at the house every weekend. I have a small baby at home. It’s my first summer with Gemma so I’m really excited to spend that with her.”
It would be hard to say goodbye to Lindsay, but something tells me she already has a plan in the works. I have a theory that she is soft-launching herself onto The Real Housewives of New York.
The series has recently been put on pause for casting, and fans are hoping some of the elder Summer House women will take up a golden apple. Recently, Lindsay posted a photo with Erin Lichy. The two moms joked about having their kids matched up for a 2045 wedding to one another. Whatever capacity Lindsay chooses to come back in, fans will be over the moon. No one is ready to let an activated Lindsay leave Bravo just yet.
