Season 2 of The Valley also gifted us with the rumor that Jason Caperna takes off his wedding ring when he goes out. Naturally, Kristen Doute breathed life into the gossip from years earlier. Somehow, Jason’s longtime friend, Jasmine Goode, was dragged into the mud. Now she is weighing in on whether she believes that Jason is stepping out on his wife, Janet Caperna.
Does Jasmine think Jason cheated on Janet Caperna?
While Jasmine wasn’t the only person who heard this rumor, Janet and Jason confronted her about bringing it out. However, she insisted that she didn’t mention it, so she won’t apologize. Finally, Jasmine lost her cool with Mrs. Caperna. “Janet you’re a sh*t ass friend. You’ve been a vibe killer. You’re exhausting,” Jasmine exclaimed. “You give Karen energy.” Yikes.
Recently, Jasmine broke down the origin of the mysterious ring rumor. “This rumor started a couple years ago when the group was a bit fractured,” Jasmine told DECIDER. “I think people were upset, and people said things that they didn’t really mean, and it blew up from there. That’s what I took from that whole conversation when it happened.” She added, “I didn’t believe it. There was never any cheating.”
Still, Jasmine pointed out that she didn’t start the rumor about a ring-less Jason. “But other people heard it too. It wasn’t just me,” she explained. “We all know Jason is Janet’s whipping boy [laughs].”
Jasmine continued, “But hey, their relationship is great. It works for them. I still don’t think Jason has done anything to hurt Janet,” she added.
Meanwhile, Jasmine is prepping for her wedding to Melissa Marie. Last year, the couple proposed to each other in Italy. Melissa and Jasmine are set to tie the knot next summer in New Jersey. So, who will get invites from The Valley? We will have to wait and see!
