The Real Housewives of Miami are back, and the drama is still piping hot. Lenny Hochstein aka the self-proclaimed “Boob God” of Miami and Lisa Hochstein’s ex-husband has once again broken up with his much-younger fiancée, Katharina Mazepa. Yes, again. This marks their second split, and fans are already bracing themselves for what this might mean for Lisa. The father of two’s track record screams midlife crisis. And while Lisa has been thriving with her new man, Jody Glidden, some RHOM viewers and a few castmates, apparently, are worried she might be tempted back to the dark side. But should she? Spoiler: absolutely not.
Lisa Hochstein’s ex Lenny has split from fiancée Katharina Mazepa for the second time
When Lenny first went public with Katharina while still married to Lisa, fans were floored. The timing was shady, the Instagram posts were cringey, and the whole thing felt like a midlife crisis wrapped in designer sunglasses. But Lenny didn’t care. He flaunted the new romance like it was his proudest moment. Fast forward to now, and the engagement has fizzled. Again. According to Paige Six, the couple “broke up a few months ago.” The model told the outlet, “After a meaningful chapter together, I’ve made the decision to respectfully end our engagement and return the ring.” She shared that she “wasn’t asked to do so” but “insisted” because she “felt it was the right thing to do.”
The 29-year-old Austrian explained she had a come-to-Jesus moment and had “a quiet realization that sometimes love transforms, and letting go with grace is the most dignified path forward.” Katharina added that she wished her 58-year-old former lover “nothing but peace and fulfillment on his journey.” For now, the brunette is focused on her “next chapter with intention, independence, and presence.” Naturally, Lenny refused to comment about the breakup.
RHOM cast worried Lisa might take Lenny Hochstein back
Cue the Bravo sirens, because everyone’s wondering if this means he’ll start trying to worm his way back into Lisa’s life. And while that’s speculation (so far), we’ve seen enough Real Housewives history to know you can never say never. Let’s not forget that Lisa and Lenny were together for over a decade. They built a life, had children, and battled through multiple seasons of RHOM before things exploded. And even though Lenny’s behavior during their divorce was peak villain mode, some of Lisa’s friends are still worried she might let nostalgia cloud her judgment. During the season premiere of RHOM, Lisa played a cruel joke on Alexis Nepola and Marysol Patton, who were worried she was going back to the cheetah. As they sat down for some “cockies” Lisa seemingly confirmed their fear noting, “He’s been asking to get back together.”
The two friends almost choked on their drinks as Marysol shouted, “No! Don’t do it!” She also pointed out that Lisa has been dating Jody since 2022. As Lisa played the part, she noted, “I love Jody, but, like, I don’t know, I have the kids to think about.” After seeing the fear on her friend’s faces, she revealed, “I’m kidding.” But poor Marysol was exhausted, noting, “I’ve lost my buzz.”
RHOM’s Lisa Hochstein should stick with boyfriend Jody Glidden
Jody has been Lisa’s white knight throughout her dark days. The Canadian is a calm, collected businessman who stepped in just as Lisa’s world was falling apart. He’s not the flashiest guy in the room, but that might be exactly what Lisa needs. And even though Larsa Pippen feels he is a “clout chaser,” he seems genuine. Jody’s been by Lisa’s side through court dates, custody battles, and emotional meltdowns. And while he’s kept a relatively low profile, the scenes we’ve seen of them together show a softness and safety that Lisa didn’t have in her marriage to Lenny.
And Lisa should be proud of her glow-up since the divorce. The mother of two’s confidence is back, her style is next-level, and she’s walking through Miami like she owns it. A significant part of that’s knowing she’s loved and supported, not criticized and overlooked. As a longtime fan, I’m sure it’s tempting to think of reconciliation. The idea of a fairytale reunion storyline. But this isn’t a rom-com. It’s the Real Housewives of Miami. And if Lisa wants her happy ending, she needs to keep moving forward.
The Real Housewives of Miami is available to stream on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
