After exhibiting some problematic behavior on Season 2 of The Valley, some Bravo fans are calling for Jax Taylor’s termination. There’s only so much toxic energy that viewers can tolerate.
Of course, Jax spent time in a treatment facility to address his behavior, but was it enough for him to keep his spot on The Valley? Or, perhaps it’s time for Bravo to finally part ways with their number one bad boy.
Has Jax Taylor been fired from The Valley?
No, Jax Taylor has not been fired from The Valley, and according to a new report, he’s going nowhere anytime soon.
Of course, Jax entered a treatment center midway through Season 2. Some fans thought it would be a turning point for the troubled reality star. However, the cameras rolled as he sent rage texts to Brittany Cartwright. He also claimed to have been spying on her through the security cameras in their home.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg, and obviously, there’s been a lot of backlash. According to a source that spoke with The Sun, Jax has felt caught off guard by the audience’s reaction.
“The fallout has been worse than [Jax] thought,” the source claimed.
They added, “I think he thought that if he prefaced this season by warning everyone his behavior was bad, he thought it would all be swept under the rug.”
The source went on to say that The Valley producers have heard the outrage “loud and clear.” They just don’t have immediate plans to fire Jax. Supposedly, they’re concerned about how losing Jax would impact the show.
The insider added, “Quite frankly, it would be a different show without Jax so producers are trying to figure out what the future of the show looks like and what’s best for everyone.”
Jax’s role at Bravo remains intact. However, the backlash has caught up to him elsewhere. For example, he had to cut his nationwide podcast tour short due to a number of venues cutting ties with him. Actions do have consequences, even when it doesn’t seem that way on Bravo.
