Defying all other busted boatmances in this franchise, Gael and Nathan have just welcomed their first child. Sharing the happy news via her since-expired Instagram stories, the exhausted Gael appears, holding her newborn son in the hospital. At her side is Nathan, who is equally beaming with pride. “Welcome to the world, my love,” Gael penned via an overlay on their birth announcement.
When Nathan first met Gael on Below Deck Med Season 9, he was immediately smitten. As was Gael. However, there was one rather pesky little obstacle standing in their way. Gael already had a boyfriend.
Nevertheless, Nathan persisted. In the end, his steadfast efforts won Gael over, and they began dating towards the end of their season on Below Deck Med. When filming wrapped, they traveled around together, only to break up and reconcile last September. Earlier this year, they shared they were pregnant, and now, their son is here.
What a wild ride it has been for this couple. From dating on a yacht filled with cameras to a land-based relationship that saw its fair share of highs and lows to today, where these two are now parenting a child together, Gael and Cameron have a precious, albeit rare, love story.
