According to a source, the wedding guests were informed about the time that they should be ready. However, no information about the venue was conveyed to them. The news came after the Amazon founder faced massive backlash and protestors disrupted the preparations, impacting their security.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez arrived in Venice on June 25, followed by many A-list wedding guests, but the couple has kept the venue a secret amid protests, per PEOPLE. Due to security reasons, the invitees were not informed about the location. They were only asked to get ready by a particular time.
The couple’s three-day festivities were supposed to be a high-end ceremony. However, it turned into a “PR nightmare” as locals took over the Italian city, holding anti-Bezos signs and posters. An insider told Rob Shuter that the journalist is “being painted as the villain in a billionaire horror show.” Thus, the security is tighter, which may also have irked the protestors.
Meanwhile, some of the A-list guests who have arrived include Ivanka Trump, her husband Jared Kushner, and Diane von Fürstenberg. Some reports have suggested that many big names have backed out of attending the ceremony amid protests.
According to PEOPLE, the star-studded wedding is to be held over multiple days. On June 26, the festivities begin with a welcome night at the Madonna dell’Orto church. The next day, Bezos and Sanchez are expected to tie the knot, following a black-tie theme. It is seemingly going to be organized on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore off of Venice. The final day will be all about a relaxed evening dinner at the Arsenal of Venice.
