Love Island USA is a major hit. The USA spin-off of Love Island UK really took off last year with the critically acclaimed Season 6. Now, Love Island USA Season 7 has astronomically high ratings. Even superstars like Megan Thee Stallion and Kylie Jenner are big fans.
With all the buzz over Love Island USA Season 7, new viewers are also going back to previous seasons. Now, they’re wondering what happened to some of their favorite Islanders from the early years. Wondering where the cast of Love Island USA Season 1 are now? We’ve got you covered.
What happened to the Love Island USA Season 1 cast and where are they now?
Love Island USA Season 1 ended with four finalist couples. Zac Mirabelli and Elizabeth Weber ultimately won, and decided to split the $100k grand prize. Alexandra Stewart and Dylan Curry came in second place, while Caroline Viehweg and Raymond Gantt got third.
While they didn’t make the finals, Kyra Green and Cashel Burnett were also a notable Season 1 couple. They both went on to appear on many reality shows. However, Cashel recently made headlines for very disturbing allegations.

Elizabeth Weber
Elizabeth Weber won Love Island USA Season 1 alongside Zac Mirabelli. While she received the envelope with $100k, she chose to split it with Zac.
So, where is the Season 1 winner now? Elizabeth got engaged in December 2024 … but not to Zac. Instead, her fiance is Gianni Settino. Elizabeth’s Season 1 co-star Alexandra Stewart left a lot of gushing comments on Elizabeth’s engagement post. So did Season 2’s MacKenzie Dipman and Season 6 star JaNa Craig.
Elizabeth may not have ended up with the man she met on Love Island. But she hasn’t distanced herself from the show. In a recent sponsored post for Bentley, Elizabeth referenced the famous Love Island line, “A hot new bombshell has entered the villa …”
Zac Mirabelli
Zac and Elizabeth announced their breakup towards the end of 2019. This was only a few months after they won Love Island USA Season 1. When he announced their split, Zac claimed the breakup was amicable. He simply said that he and Elizabeth “wanted different things.”
While Elizabeth is still active on social media, Zac has kept a very low profile after his Love Island USA fame. His Instagram only has two posts, and the most recent on is from September 2021. Nevertheless, he has very recent comments on this post, surely from viewers who are watching Love Island USA Season 1 for the first time. He also has a YouTube channel, but the last video posted was from three years ago.
Alexandra Stewart
Love Island USA Season 1’s runner-up, Alexandra Stewart, is still close with the winner Elizabeth Weber. The two used to host a Love Island USA podcast together. These days, Alexandra frequently comments on Elizabeth’s social media posts. And vice versa. In October 2024, Alexandra and Elizabeth attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic together.
Alexandra also regularly comments on Love Island USA Season 7. For instance, she made a post about the rumors that Season 7’s Taylor Williams was already seeing someone when he left for the villa. Alexandra told fans that many Love Island USA contestants have “situationships” before entering the villa. Including herself. She argued these wasn’t the same as someone going on the show while being in a committed relationship.
Dylan Curry
Love Island USA Season 1 runners-up Dylan Curry and Alexandra dated for a few months after leaving the villa. However, Alexandra confirmed their breakup on her Instagram stories in late 2019. Dylan did the same, claiming that things just didn’t work out between them.
While Zac, Elizabeth, and Alexandra were all OGs, Dylan was an early Love Island USA bombshell. He entered the villa on Day 6.
Like Zac, Dylan isn’t very active on social media. His most recent Instagram post is from the end of 2022.
Caroline Viehweg
Caroline “Caro” Viehweg came in third place alongside Raymond “Ray” Gantt. After their time in the villa, Caro and Ray competed on The Amazing Race Season 33. However, the pandemic got in the way of their full Amazing Race experience. That season was suspended amidst COVID-19. When the season resumed production, Caro and Ray did not return.
Caro announced their breakup on her YouTube channel in July 2020. So, they made it a little longer that the first and second place couples.
While she didn’t find lasting love in the villa, the Season 1 fan favorite did get her happily ever after. These days, Caro has an adorable family with her husband Rene Lacad. Caro married Rene in 2023. They share a daughter named Amina.
Raymond Gantt
After coming in third place on Love Island USA Season 1, Ray Gantt has gone on to appear in a number of reality shows. He returned to the villa for Love Island Games Season 1. He also appeared on MTV’s Ex On The Beach Season 5 alongside Caro.
Ray hasn’t given up on trying to find love on reality TV. He’s set to appear on Season 3 of Netflix’s Perfect Match. Ray will compete alongside some other Love Island USA alums. Including Justine Joy, Carrington Rodriguez, and Scott Van Der Sluis. Perfect Match Season 3 premieres August 1 on Netflix.
Emily Salch and Weston Richey
Emily got fourth place alongside Weston Richey. While Weston and Emily didn’t formerly announce their breakup, she eventually confirmed it with a Valentine’s Day post indicating she was single. Like Ray, she returned to the villa to compete in Love Island Games Season 1. Since leaving the villa, Emily founded a skin care line called Face-y Company.
Today, Emily appears to still be single. So is her former Love Island USA paramour Weston. Just recently the podcaster posted on his Instagram, “Dating in 2025: They will block you on everything … but then like your dog’s birthday post.”
Kyra Green
Kyra Green was the first Love Island USA bombshell. Since she appeared on Season 1, Kyra has befriended many Love Island USA alums. Kyra also has the most Instagram followers from the Love Island USA Season 1 cast.
She later appeared on a few different reality shows. Kyra competed on The Challenge USA alongside her ex Cashel Barrett. She also starred on two other MTV shows, Match Me If You Can and Ex On The Beach Season 5. Like a few of her Season 1 co-stars, Kyra returned to the villa for Love Island Games Season 1.
These days, Kyra is happily in love. The openly bisexual Love Island USA star recently celebrated her one-year anniversary with her girlfriend Tal Sahar.
