When The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered, no one quite expected the cultural tidal wave it created. The Hulu docuseries cracked open a world of faith, family, and not-so-quiet rebellion. And it was all wrapped in modest dresses and whispered secrets. Now, as the cast prepares to sit down for what promises to be a jaw-dropping reunion. With high drama, the show introduced viewers to a variety of women navigating the fallout of Mormon tradition. From those still inside the church to those who’ve dramatically exited. The reunion is set to air early next month, and while producers are teasing emotional breakthroughs and unexpected confrontations, the cast list is already raising eyebrows.
What cast members are not coming to the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion?
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast for Season 3, as of now, looks like it will be the same faces. However, there is always the question lurking in the back of fans’ minds as a reunion approaches. In the past, when a star had failed or refused to make a tell-all, they were usually not rewarded by the network with a new contract. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion may not have every voice in the room, but it has enough to ignite the same emotional, unfiltered energy that made Season 2 so addictive. Here’s everyone who didn’t have a seat on the reunion couch.
Demi Engemann

Let’s start with the missing faces because their absence is just as loud as their presence would’ve been. Notably skipping the reunion is Demi Engemann and her husband, Bret Engemann. The outspoken wanna-be queen bee who shocked viewers with her revelations of the group. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives viewers were expecting to see Demi there since she had caused so much unnecessary drama. Demi stirred controversy with her lack of defense for her so-called best friend, Jessi Ngatikaura. Demi was also criticized for trying to throw Jessi under the bus during contract negotiations.
Her tense interactions throughout the course of Season 2 left her standing alone at the finale. Not one of her castmates felt it was for her to yell at Taylor Frankie Paul’s mother. The lack of respect left many fans awestruck. Demi spoke out on her absence from the reunion on Instagram. She stated, “It was short notice and the only day they could get the location secured was the day that me and my entire family did Disneyland. We had already booked all of our flights and the Airbnb was nonrefundable or I would’ve moved the trip to be there. I tried to have production move it to another day and they couldn’t swing it sadly.” Bottom line? One of the most intense voices from Season 2 are sitting this one out. And fans are already debating what that says about the show’s behind-the-scenes dynamics.
Who’s confirmed to be in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Reunion?
Now on to the women who are definitely showing up and ready to talk. Everyone else will be present and accounted for. This includes Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Jen Affleck, Mikayla Matthews, Miranda McWhorter, Layla Taylor, Jessi and Whitney Leavitt.
Taylor Frankie Paul

Taylor, the OG, has already been teasing the reunion on Instagram and it’s readying fans for quite an episode. Taylor and Dakota Mortensen will open up about their break up and there won’t be one dry eye.
Jessi Ngatikaura

You can also expect Jessi to address the fallout with Demi and finally clear up whether her flirtation with a certain Vanderpump Villa star really happened. Jessi has had a lot to say about Demi since the season ended as well. The hairstylist told The New York Post, “I was frustrated because we all were told of the date weeks in advance and we just had to make it work. It’s our job.”
Jessi went on to explain, “I was actually teaching a hair class that weekend, and I had 60 students who had flown in mostly from out of state to learn from me, and I had to have someone else teach the class, and I have a lot of people disappointed and wanting money back. So for me, I had to make a big sacrifice. So I was really annoyed that she wasn’t there, especially because she was one that everyone needed answers from.”
Mayci Neeley

The absences are notable, the confirmed guests are ready to talk, and the tension? Already simmering. Whether it’s closure, confrontation, or just more dirty soda recipe ideas, one thing’s for sure: this reunion won’t be boring. Mayci Neeley will be the quietest of the bunch as she takes all the drama in.
Jen Affleck

Even though Demi is nowhere in sight, Jen has a few choice words for her former friend. The trailer shows Jen shouting she has “receipts” about Demi’s entanglement in Italy. However, Demi won’t be there to defend herself, so it feels a bit unfair.
Mikayla Matthews

Mikayla is more than ready to throw down with Whitney, whom she despises. In the reunion sneak peek, she tells her enemy that she is over changing the narrative. It seems that Mikayla has finally found her voice.
Miranda McWhorter

Miranda was the new girl on the block. But she came in with fresh insight on the swinger scandal. I predict a quiet night for the newbie.
Layla Taylor

Ms. Layla got her hands quite dirty on the season finale. Fans are looking forward to catching up with the young mother in hopes that she has gotten to the bottom of the rumors. However, Layla is known for riding the fence, so it is doubtful she was hard the questions.
Whitney Leavitt

Whitney was seen getting annoyed in the reunion trailer. She has had to climb her way back into the MomTokers’ good graces. And she hated every second of it. Expect Whitney to come in hard with her comments.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is available to stream on Hulu. The show streams on Disney+ in the UK.
